alec: These are surprisingly soft and extremely strong. They are ultra compact making it perfect for long backpacking trips and tossing in a tackle box on a fishing trip. Such a great deal. Will absolutely be purchasing again.

David Tartaglia: these little thing pack well anywhere, as long as you have water (drinkable) not to much you will have a good towel to clean your self with or clean an area you need to use. Use them for bathroom trips when out and about because you never know if there is going to be enough or any TP available.

MagicBendyMagicBendy: These are decent compressed towels. Being individually wrapped makes them convenient to take along virtually anywhere and keeps them clean and protected. They are barely 8 inches square when open and stretched out flat, which is a couple of inches shorter on one side than what I was expecting, based on the same type of item by other brands. I bought the box of 200 and I always count the items in situations like that. This box had 199 towels and 200 packages. One of the towels had another package attached to it, but that second package/envelope was sealed and had no towel. I’ve provided pictures so you can see the conjoined packages and one missing towel. So I got 200 packages/envelopes…but 100 actual towels. Not a big deal. It’s just one towel. But I thought it worth mentioning in case such an occurrence might be more important for others.

Patrick: I only tried one, just to see how well they work and how tough they are. They expand out to a nice size towel went soaked in water. The cloth is kind of woven, something like clorox wipes.
I wS afraid they'd just fall apart when soaked with water. I'd definitely recommend these for any emergency, camping etc. So compact. Carry a few in your pocket or purse.

Rain: In looking to purchase more Big Otters Compressed Towels in a larger quantity, I see the same compressed towels are offered by another seller, and a review that says these soft, sizeable, compressed towels are convenient to have but their many holes render them not usable as toilet paper. I disagree. I use them primarily as toilet paper. I wet it, fold it, then I clean myself, really clean myself, unlike the clean one gets when using several squares of a dry rolled toilet paper.

These compressed towels have proven to be more useful than toilet paper. They also make great face wipes when moist, and they then can be used as a soft nose wipe (tissue). The fact that they do not require the space needed for rolls of toilet paper or paper towels on shelves or in cabinets makes them all the more a better buy.
