DédéDédé: Les couleurs sont vraiment au top, éclatantes et denses. Mieux même que sur les photos de la page Amazon ! Et aucune couleur n'est similaire à une autre, on a bien 20 filtres distincts avec chacun leur intérêt .
Par contre c'est vraiment très fin, d'où l'étoile en moins. Pour autant, a voir dans la durée, mais le matériau n'a pas l'air sensible à la déformation, ça revient en place bien droit.
Très bon produit donc ! Un peu cher pour l'épaisseur proposée, mais on a un assortiment génial pour être créatif, a condition de faire attention à son matos.

TSVD: Just received these (they arrived early) and have had some fun with color correcting and just creative stuff. The gels are packaged with a gel sized piece of paper between each of them. The small case is fine and thin so there is no issues packing this away.
All the gels are labeled, you'll probably want to have a light with you to see the labeling better if you're shooting in the dark, but even just the light from the back of my cameras LCD was enough. The color correction set are in one group and it's easy to find the right one. The color correction gels appear to be accurate in colors as well.
The rubber band is nice and doesn't feel cheap. Sort of reminds me of the bands you would wear on your wrist to support various charities. It's got tabs on each side so after its on the flash you can lift up the tab to fit the gel tab in there.
Lastly, there's a lot of options for gels and prices. I'm quite glad I went with these since they're labeled. It also gives you the f-stop loss on each gel, which is helpful. Richard Goiser: Ich habe mir die Filter primär aus Spaß am Experimentieren gekauft. Ich nutze sie an meinen Canon 580 und 430 Blitzen, auf beide passen sie tadellos.
Sie werden mittels eines Gummibandes befestigt, welches an den schmalen Seiten des Blitzes zwei extra "Laschen" hat. An diesen Laschen kann man ziehen um den Filter reinzustecken. Super simpel und effektiv.
Der Filter liegt im Normalfall nicht plan am Blitz auf, sondern spannt einen kleinen Bogen vorne drüber. Das sieht vielleicht merkwürdig und schlampig aus, funktioniert aber uneingeschränkt gut.
Die Filter kommen in einer Art Nylon Etui. Das hat genau die richtige Größe, daß man nicht einerseits mühsam alles reinpfriemeln muß und andererseits, daß es nicht mehr Platz als nötig verbraucht. Mechanisch ist es stabil genug, knickt nicht so leicht ab (was aber vermutlich auch nicht weiter schlimm wäre.
Jeder Filter liegt auf einem zugeschnittenen Blatt Papier auf, dadurch sieht man sofort seine Farbe - super!

Sven Hippler: Die im Universal Lighting Filter Kit enthaltenen Farbfolien sind aus hochwertigen LEE-Filterfolien gefertigt. Dadurch sind auch die von LEE erhältlichen Informationen zu den spektralen Eigenschaften der Filter direkt auf die Rogue-Farbfolien übertragbar.
Die Farbfolien sind an der breitesten Stelle der nutzbaren Fläche etwa 7,6 cm (3 inch) breit und lassen sich somit auf mittelgroßen Blitzgeräten (z. B. einem Canon Speedlite 430EX II schnell und problemlos anbringen. Bei größeren Blitzgeräten ist eine präzise Ausrichtung erforderlich; zur vollständigen Abdeckung eines Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT sind die Farbfolien jedoch etwas zu klein.
Die Befestigung der Farbfolien am Blitzgerät erfolgt vorzugsweise mit einem Gummiband. Das mitgelieferte Gummiband sitzt an typischen Blitzgeräten sehr stramm und hält durch seine große Auflagefläche die Farbfolie ziemlich fest. Don't Stop BananaDon't Stop Banana: I've been reading a lot of books and articles later about what I can do to get those extra details that make a shot exciting. Up until a few weeks ago, I had rarely used color gels other than to compensate for ambient lighting, and I wanted to pick up something that had a wide variety of colors to use. The Rogue system definitely fit the bill with a number of color correction, as well as special effects colors to use. I also like that the gels have their colors and f-stop loss information written directly on the material. Very helpful.
The filters are organized into three sections, Greens/Blues, Correction Filters, and Yellows/Reds. Having a slaved or radio-triggered speedlite somewhere in the background with even a slight tinge of color is often enough to keep a viewer's attention, even if for an extra few seconds. I found the system helpful in supporting the themes that I was going after, drawing attention to a specific area of a shot, and giving energy to a still image.
A few usage notes: When fastening the gel to your flash head, let it "bow" up a little bit. Don't strap it down directly across the lens, as it will start to deform from the heat. I looked over at...

Amazon Customer: I purchased this product because I didn't fancy gluing Velcro pads to my expensive flash. The gels are already pre-cut to an ideal shape for mounting to any flash using a standard rubber band, and a perfect rubber band is already included!
I was initially disappointed because the included rubber band wasn't shaped the same way as the one I saw in the product picture here on Amazon. The one in the picture has a couple of slits cut into it to make mounting the gels easier. The one I received is just a solid black elastic band with the word 'ROGUE" indented in it. Honestly, any 1/2" wide elastic band would work fine for this purpose. But the one provided is black (which matches most flashes) and is very high quality.
You put the rubber band around the head of your flash, somewhat near the front of it, and leave it there. Mounting the gels requires lifting the rubber band a bit at the side and slipping a narrow end of the gel under the band. Once you do that on each side, the gel stays safely in place and completely covers the reflector. After doing it a few times, it's become very easy. I can switch gels in seconds.
