Elizabeth: We have a glass solarium - two walks of this room are glass. After putting these up, I have to say, starlings still hit our windows. But they also arrive in a huge crazy group and take off like a fire has been lit under them. BUT every other bird that used to hit our windows has not done so since these were put up in December. So I’d say they work for majority of birds. Recommend.

Kathy G: Difficult to remove product from backing, No instructions Not sure that it's any more effective than the blue masking tape I used to keep birds away from window. Would not recommend or buy more.

JackB: We applied these to our Patio door and kitchen windows as we often get bird strikes due to panic and a hawk. These look ok not too much as they are white but we still get the occasional bang unfortunately although it is not as often.

Gael Allegra: I gave 3 stars for easy to use because no instructions were included so I had to look them back up on my Amazon account. The good news is, the decals were much less money than a company I used before that charged about $2 per decal, so it got real pricey to cover my 2 very large windows that use 40 decals to cover well. The more expensive companies decals are made a little heavier but since the coating comes off after a couple of years with outdoor use, these decals are the way to go. I could afford to replace them yearly if necessary. I think some folks are putting them on the inside of the window. Other companies advise using them on the outside only. This advice should be part of the instructions. The instructions are not only not included, but vague as to how they should be properly used. Having said all that, the price is very good and so more people are likely to buy and use them which helps keep birds alive. I will try to report back after the summer to say how well they worked compared to the pricier brand.

JenJen: My family keeps a bird feeder close to our house (8-10 ft. from the nearest windows). My dad is retired and spends most of his day at home so it's been a peaceful activity for him. We were getting frequent and sometimes fatal strikes and wanted to prevent them without sacrificing the feeder. (To note: We have double-paned windows in the main room facing the feeder, and single-pane in the room pictured).
I chose the 40-pack and figured based on other reviews I might receive a few duds - which I did. Not a problem since the pack comes with so many. My family liked the variety and installing them was easy. Some are hard to peel but it's not impossible. In our opinion they look nice on the glass, not cheap. We used a ruler to push the air bubbles out and smooth them on. None have fallen off.
Overall they seem to lessen the amount of bird strikes but every now and then we hear a THUMP. Maybe they would work best being completely outdoors? Either way, we are happy there have been no recent deaths or major injuries, just a few feather scuffs on the glass.

Cherie RCherie R: Lots of different bird shapes. Most peeled off the backing very easily, although a couple were tougher needed a fingernail to get between the cling and the paper backing. I washed my windows and applied them to the clean glass. They went on smoothly. I gave them 3-stars for removal, but I think that's a good thing! It takes a little effort to pick the edge up, but you don't want them coming off too easily! My biggest concern was having to look at them all the time through my large picture window. They are not clear; they are translucent, with a light frosted look. While I wish that they were clear with a special coating on the outside that made them visible to birds only, I think with time I will barely notice them. I just put them up today. The pictures I include show how they look with direct sunlight shining through. Unfortunately the seal on the window is broken so past condensation on the inside has left it a little hazy, but you can see the difference at the top of the picture between direct sun and shade. The second picture shows indirect light on them, which makes them less noticeable. I'm hoping to get used to them and to end the birds running into the glass! Makes me so...

Rita Holman: These windows clings work very well! Since I put them on my windows we haven’t had one single bird fly into them! We used to have at least one or two birds fly into the windows every couple of weeks, sometimes so hard they killed themselves! These somehow signal the birds to stay back. They look very nice on the windows too, just a slight frosted silhouette.
