This book covers a plethora of topics that you will absolutely face in your career no matter what position you are in today and achieve before you retire. The information in the book can stick with you as you progress and help you not only succeed but also help you avoid the pitfalls that will certainly come. In any sport they study a game plan in order to defeat their challenger, in war they do the same, buy this book and use it as a game plan to help you succeed all throughout your career. Jordan Sakovich: I’m currently working my way towards becoming a fire fighter and I know I will be using this book throughout my career once I do become a firefighter. He implements faith in this book, which really caught my eye and attention. My faith is important to me, so I really resonated with his words and what he had to say. Overall, this is an outstanding book not only for firefighters, but for personal lives as well.

Mad Handy: What isn’t there to like about this book?

I discovered Jim Moss as I was researching how to be a better firefighter. My first exposure to his insight was through his podcast. It’s a podcast I have recommended to many and will continue to endorse. From his podcast I learned of his books: Firefighter Success and Firefighter Functional Fitness. Both of these books were exactly what I needed.

Firefighter Success is uplifting, inspiring, energizing, relatable and truly helpful. It’s an easy read with essential information that every firefighter needs to know.

If you are reading reviews about this book, you should be buying it - it’s the book you want and you won’t regret it.

Also, if you haven’t already done so, you should buy Firefighter Functional Fitness and listen to his podcast.

Nick: Not currently a serving firefighter but I am looking at switching from Paramedic to Firefighter in my country and God has this book helped. It has given me a good launching point for the road to fire services, and has definitely helped with my current role as well.
If you're any form of Frontline emergency service this book is a must have tool in your kit.

Jon Simmons: Great read start to finish. Chaptered and headed well to make it an easy read, and also simple to go back and find specific sections.
The actions steps at the end of each chapter really encourage some self-reflection and for you to be honest with yourself in search of you're success.
A great one to mark up, highlight, fold pages, and reference back to if you find yourself struggling and maybe at a sticking point or cross road in life.
Though the drills and some of the phrasing is specific to the States the principals are worldwide and great things to keep in mind for not just your career but in your personal life too.

Jeff TompkinsJeff Tompkins: This book is outstanding! By 1 chapter in I was hooked and knew this book would make an impact to the fire service as a whole.

I recently reached out to the author on social media, and he was so generous with his time. He has a passion for the fire service and helping others be successful that is very inspiring.

He also has a podcast of the same name, which has become my new favorite podcast. The quality of guests is amazing and the content is extremely valuable.

I hope to get my department to buy multiple copies of this book because I think it’s that good. If I can’t make that happen, I’ll buy them myself and hand out to as many officers and aspiring officers as I can.

Do yourself a favor, buy at least 3 copies; one for yourself, one for a colleague, and one for someone you have been mentoring and would like to help succeed. You will not be disappointed.

Tim S.Tim S.: Wirklich geniales Buch, es liest sich locker und interessant.
Es geht nicht wie vllt vermutet nur darum erfolgreich die Karriereleiter hinaufzusteigen, sondern soll helfen die täglichen Aufgaben des Feuerwehrmanns / der Feuerwehrfrau erfolgreich zu meistern.

Ich lese es in der Kindle Version, so können auch Übersetzungen bei Bedarf direkt angezeigt werden.

Kann es echt nur empfehlen!
