brian: I'll surprised on how good this meal is. Most freeze dried meals I've had are ok but this one was the best I've had so far. The chicken pieces have the texture of freeze dried ice cream for some reason but was still good. Lightweight and just needs boiling water, and let it sit for 10 minutes and it's good to eat. Only downside is that the meal expires in 5 years so it's not for really long term storage. It says 2 servings but I think it's only 1

Andy: They are a little pricey but ease of use and taste make up for the price. I will say that I used the correct amount of water and it was pretty soupy so I might need to cut back a little next time. I had no idea what to expect with a dehydrated meal but was pleasantly surprised by how good this was.

Drew Kercell: This is such an excellent meal that I've decided to finally review it! I usually buy this particular brand and flavor (PEAK Chicken Alfredo Pasta) from other stores but I wanted some for dinner so I bought this one here lol.

Light weight, filling, fast, clean and delicious comfort food.

53g of protein, 2 portions (or 1 big delicious portion), fantastic flavor, the chicken is impressively good. Once hydrated, it definitely takes like real chicken with a bit of a chewy texture which I find actually amazing. The sauce and noodles are spot on as well. Some meals you'll kick yourself for not bringing a small baggy of cheese or something, but not with this one. All you need is 1 cup of boiling water. That's it!

In the past, I would take a bunch of different smaller food items when on backpacking, camping or river trips but these days I just pick up a couple of these and spoon it out of the bag. I'll bring other things of course but, I always bank on knowing that this meal is not going to disappoint. In fact, sometimes I'll just eat them at home because they are awesome.

I really wish the price would come down a tiny bit as I would buy this much more often but...

Amanda: This was a very satisfying meal at the end of an all-day hike. We split this between two people and it was a good portion for me(paired with some snacks) but my partner wanted a bit more and could have eaten the entire thing himself. Definitely consider each person’s appetite if you want to share this.

It was comparable to a microwaveable dinner and the flavor was great! I think it would be delicious with some dehydrated veggies to further bulk it up, but this was a great meal that I would be happy to have again. Looking forward to trying more flavors from this brand.

Eric V: Tasted like it came from a restaurant! I absolutely love this company. I would recommend this to anyone that wants some pasta after a long hike! I had the beef and marinara pasta before and that was also amazing. This company sure knows how to make really good A+ freeze dried meals.
