Twon: I wanted to try the natural twist look since I’m currently growing my hair out. Didn’t want to try the sponge method since I seen how nasty it becomes over time. Came across this product and said for the price of other more expensive one that looks exactly like this (but probably because it’s only a better build) I can get 2 of these for a cheaper price, no brainer since I didn’t know if it would work on my hair. Tried it out and was very impressed with the results. Just make sure you rub it lightly across your hair in circular motions for best results. It will make twist appear almost instantly that way. Build quality is also good for it being made of plastic. Pretty sturdy.

Nikia Gunn: I purchased the 2 pack so I could have one for home and I gifted the other one to my hair stylist. I have short, natural, 3 c hair. I tried to use it on myself first and was not happy with the results. I thought maybe I used it wrong so I decided to wait until my stylist used the one I gifted her at my next appointment. She too was disappointed and said that it did not work. Total waste of money.

LCS: The plastic is much better quality than I expected. It's quite sturdy. We have only had it about a month so far, so we will see how it holds up, but so far so good.

Gina Davis: Bought these for my 7year old son to see how he liked them, my sons mixed and doesn’t know much about his own hair so I’ve started to work through this hair journey with him as he grows it out. His dad is mixed too but never does anything to his hair besides getting it cut. I’m a white woman so I don’t know a whole lot about black hair care but after a lot of digging and many, many YouTube tutorials and videos we wanted to try a twist comb while it’s still kinda short, his hair is roughly 1.5”- 2” in length. We’ve used a curl sponge in the past but I feel like it just absorbed the product more than anything. For me personally I wanted to purchase the Twist it up comb but didn’t have $25 at the time to spare on a trial run.

This comes as a 2 pack and works great, I definitely plan on buying the twist it up comb though in support of a black business and for its other features but if your like me and want to try this out before hand it’s definitely a good product . On this brand we don’t care for the pick/ comb on it the teeth are too close together for his corse hair definitely want to use a wider set tooth comb if detangling but as far as the curling...

REAL: It worked well, and even distributed the hair product I had more evenly on my kid’s hair, which allowed the product to penetrate better. But, even though it does not pull the hair or hurt, my toddler (boy) can not stand anything fussing with his hair, and you have to use it thoroughly to see a twist form! My toddler is a 4b/4a/3c type where you can see a curl but the head is spongey feeling!
