MomofBoys: The main reason I purchased these was bc of the “grips” on the palm and fingers for touch screen capability. This works about 50% of the time. Maybe it’s phone specific, but the gloves themselves are warm and fit well

Veebee99510 Veebee99510: I hadn't used these when I wrote my initial review. I took a trip to Washington DC for 4 days in the dead of winter. Temperatures were around 20ish degrees each day. On the second day of wearing these my sons gloves(black) ripped between his thumb and index finger. He consistently complained his hands were freezing and felt numb with these on and his touch screen capabilities were hit or miss. On day 3 my gloves (pink) ripped between my index and middle finger. I experienced some issues with being able to use my phone where my thumb didn't work but index finger did. I also noticed that it was significantly harder to use the touch screen capabilities when my hands were freezing which happened sometimes while wearing the gloves. These served their purpose for me as I live on Florida and won't need these again, but if you need gloves for every day use I wouldn't recommend these as they didn't even last the full four days for my trip and this is the ONLY time I've ever used these.

The rubber on gloves to help to touch screen was Great, but this started not to work.
