Our Commercial Grade, BPA Free, Heavy Duty Vacuum Sealer Bags are the perfect choice for vacuum storage, meal prepping, and sous vide cooking. Get the best for your vacuum sealer and visit the Wevac Store today!Bella Mendiola: These worked for vacuum sealing and freezing our meats. No complaints other than that the bag itself is much more skinny than we expected. We tried to fit a rack of ribs and they were too wide to go in the bag. Overall good amount of bags for the price, especially if you don't need them to be much wider.

Bob: Over all these bags work great. Two problems that I found. One, the roll is to big for my sealer. I had to roll about half of the length off to allow it to fit in my sealer. Two, there is no writting strip on the roll so you can easily mark what you have sealed and the date when you did it. Neither is really a deal breaker, just both an inconvenience.

Steven: While Wevacs don't match the renowned name brand in robustness or features (missing the dedicated date/contents strip), their cost-effectiveness is undeniable.
I use a mini deep freezer in my kitchen for frequently-accessed frozen items. Being a baking enthusiast, I store flours in the freezer to maintain freshness and deter pests. For such general-purpose freezing—herbs, flour, spices, and more—Wevacs excel by allowing expansive freezing without a hefty cost.
Nevertheless, there are instances I prefer the name brand. For instance, the Wevacs once tore due to sharp bone edges, a problem I haven't encountered with the name brand. For items with potential sharp edges or long-term storage, I opt for the name brand. Also, while perhaps a bit cautious, I trust the established name brand more for sous vide cooking, especially considering the intricacies of plastics in this process.
A quick tip: Maximize bag usage. If I store a large quantity of, say, flour, I cut the bag near the seal when accessing the contents. Once too small for its original purpose, I repurpose the bag for different items, such as homemade bread slices or herbs. This approach works best for...

Phil: The suction was very easy to use. I am using it mainly to freeze my vegetables and it has been wonderful. Have not tried the other features as yet.

Concerned ConsumerConcerned Consumer: The good:
1. The product works. No doubt about it. So that gets us out of the starting blocks. It makes bags that can vacuum and seal food, which is what it claims to do, and I won't deny it one bit.
2. It's basically made like the original "F**d S*ver" (let's just call it "FS" for the remainder of my review) make-a-bag rolls; one side is clear and the other a textured, grid-like pattern molded into the material.
The "not so good:"
Here's where the shortcuts are that drop the price. So each purchaser needs to ask him/herself if the benefits of FS bag rolls, the "perks" and refinements that those have built in are worth the extra price of the "real McCoy" or not. Just want to give information to help with that decision.
1. Material is definitely thinner than the original FS bags. Now having said that, am I going to be "stressing" the material, such that this is a major difference? I probably won't, but if you're sealing things that have "pointy parts" they could poke through. Homemade dehydrated foods come to mind; they can actually get some sharp parts. Just be aware of this.
2. Unlike the original FS bags, there are no "hash marks" on the sides of...

Mary W: I bought these for my older model Food Saver machine.. They vacuum and seal as well as the more expensive Food Saver brand. The only thing I miss is the measuring lines that are on the side of the Food Saver rolls. But for the price, I will live with that. Will buy again when the need arises.
