RT: I got these because I have a guitar stand that had retaining sleeves on either rail to hold the bottom rail in place. The retainers are plastic and broke. I drilled all the way through both the bottom rail and each side rail and got these pins to slide through the drilled holes to keep the bottom rail in place. When I want to fold up the stand I just pull the pins. The spring buttons work well and the pins seem of good quality. Also affordable. Handy for any number of uses.

Wizbang72: Worked great. WJ Jeep guys have a hack to replace rear seat bottom hinges pins with these, so instead of folding the seat up you can pull the pins and remove it all together giving you more cargo room. These pins were perfect for said hack.

Jrivera74: Bought two of these for my speaker stands but we’re a little to narrow for the pre-drilled holes. I can still use them, but easily slide out.
The pins themselves seem to be good quality. I just bought the wrong thickness.
