a long way from home: I bought this after a strong recommendation from a friend who said it was his favorite fidget gadget. I just don't get it. Its okay, but for me I would say it was only just okay. not bad but I have definitely had much more success and fun with other fidget toys. If sound is part of what you need in a fidget toy this succeeds but only in a limited way. I was told it would be like popping bubble wrap which of course I love to do (who doesn't get joyous satisfaction out of bubble wrap popping? If you don't I think you might not be quite human) but only one side of the pop sounded a little bubble wrappy. But really only a little. The other side barely sounded like anything. They do say that one side is louder. It just wasn't loud enough for anyone in this house so I returned it. I bought a second one just in case the first one had been a dud but alas the second one was no louder. That one got returned as well.
BOTTOM LINE: Meh.... it's okay and it will keep your hands busy but other fidget toys do a better job IMHO

romwell: Do these help me focus? Perhaps not.
Do they help me avoid stealing my wife's stuff to fidget with (and then leaving in random places without having a memory of ever holding that thing), tearing off dead skin from my lips, crafting mini-sculptures from Babybel cheese wax, stripping labels off beer bottle, cutting my finger nails with other fingernails until only one remains (*cue Highlander theme*), straightening paperpclips (and then reshaping them, poorly), clickety-clicking the pen, etc etc etc?
Absolutely.
And they feel great and look just as colorful as the product photo shows them.
The arrangement of the bubbles allows one to create numerous symmetric patterns while playing with this toy.
The best part? The bubbles store energy when you push them in from one of the sides, so when you flip, you can just gently slide your finger along them as they go POP POP POP POP.
Soooooo satisfying.

WJH: These seems to be a good way to keep the kids busy for a while...They both function as you would expect them to. You can pop the circle buttons one way .. and then the other way... thats about it.
There is one thing to note though. There seems to be one side that is easier to "pop" the buttons. The side that is easier allows the buttons to "pop" all the way through with ease, but the other side allows you to pop them though but sometimes they stop at 90-95% of the way through. This causes my great anxiety and frustrates me... for something that is supposed to soothe you that is a nightmare for someone with OCD. I believe that this is due to how they manufacture the item. I am not sure if other ones do this as well of if it will go away after some time, but as of now this is for the kids and I will let them enjoy them.

Marisa Terres-Sigman: My son and I love these. They are medium soft silicone (so playable but not thin and floppy) they can make a satisfying little pop sound if you hit each bubble just right. Can also be a fun two player game if held vertically and each tries to poke all bubbles towards the other (my son is 3 so this is super fun for him). It's one of the few toys that will hold his attention by himself for a few minutes so great for car rides, doctors visits, any waiting times. They are small enough to throw in a diaper bag or purse and they don't immediately pick up all dirt like some other silicone toys. So far, loving these things.

Anna Adams: We homeschool and use these during especially intense lessons to help with the stimulation issues my children have. They’re also great for road trips and doctor visits.
