Duster TailDuster Tail:
Two weeks ago, the vet prescribed a very small pill cut in half, twice a day, for my cat. I've had my cat for 11 years, and hade never needed to give her any medications. I tried giving her the pill wrapped in a treat, but that only worked once. After that, she would fight me every inch of the way, and actually spit out the tiny pill. Today was the first time I successfully gave her the pill as prescribed, twice a day. I wasn't able to give her both doses until I received this dispenser tool. With it, instead of it taking up to an hour to give her the pill, it only took me a few seconds, and she was not able to spit it out! (Ha ha!) Here's how I did it:
The hole in the tip of the green dispenser was large enough for me to use a medication syringe to squirt a small amount of her wet food into it. I then inserted the pill, and squirted more food into the tip of the dispenser so that the pill was "sandwiched" between the 2 squirts of food. (Please see my photo.)I then wrapped my cat like a burrito with two towels, making sure her feet were restrained under the towels, and her mouth was accessible to me. After that, I had her smell the liquid feeding...

Quinn: The piller comes with no instructions. I also thought this thing to be useless since it could not deliver the pill consistently, and when it does my cat will just spit the pill right out. And then we took him to a vet and they showed us how to use it properly. You actually need to suck in water in the chamber first, and then put in the pill. This way, the pill will always shoot out with some follow up water. You also need to delivery the pill at the very back of the throat. My cat was first shocked but swallow the pill regardless. But later on he gets very used to it. But I also trained him to use pill pocket so the piller is now a last resort thing.

Katz: I have to pill my cat daily. I read a lot of reviews about both pill poppers. I wasnt sure which one to get. Then I saw this seller that had both at a reasonable price. Decided to purchase since it had both pill poppers. All the reviews I read about the green one having the end fly off is true. I tested it before I used it on my cat. I use the clear one. It works and is very easy to use.

CandyTorch: I have a small dog that dissects pill pocket to avoid taking medication. I have been just putting it as far back in her mouth as possible and hope for the best. Since she gotten older and I have to give her daily medication I decided to take a chance on this pill syringe, it has been a finger saver. The other ones I tried her smaller pill would fall out. This pill syringe easily holds her smaller pill and the larger one she needs to take. No more nearly bitten fingers, if I miss and she drops it, easily reloaded for a second try. Much less stressfull for her and me. I have not tried the syringe for liquids, but highly recommend the one for pills.
