I tend to be a Safety & Security nerd. If ever an emergency (smoke/fire/CO, etc.) seconds count to evacuate family/ pets. I legit have 4+ smoke detectors on each level of my house aside from other devices.
I always have extra replacement batteries on hand for all my devices. After using my last reserve for a specific type of smoke detector I went to some of my local big stores and this exact battery was not carried, out of stock or highly overpriced.
