Rob S: I needed to repair some plastic and this was just the job. I cut a second piece of plastic to sit behind the join for support and then used this epoxy to hold it all together. It worked really well and has stood up to vibration, wind, rain and cold! Recommended. Easy to apply, although I left overnight to ensure it properly set.

Stacy Sines: I've been using this epoxy and I must say, the compact size is really convenient for storage. The quick setting time is a lifesaver when working on projects with a time constraint. Additionally, the easy to use syringe makes application a breeze. I definitely recommend this.

Surges: I recently used this product to set steel rods into newel posts for an interior railing. I needed something that would set very strong given the safety implications of my project, and JB Weld fit the bill perfectly. I have some more rods to set, so finding a cheaper price on Amazon vs. the big box hardware stores was great.

Working time / setting time: I saw several reviews say this takes 10-15 minutes or more. I had the exact opposite experience. Mine became tacky and gummy so quickly (3-4 minutes) that I had to get my items glued with hustle. I worked in small batches using little paper cups after losing a relatively large first batch to the quick drying. It's dry where I live, so maybe humidity comes into play and could explain the large variance between reviewers. I'm not sure when my items were fully set, as I didn't want to test them too early and damage the initial bond.

Adhesion / strength: I glued steel into wood and steel into MDF, and both bonds are holding extremely strong. I had to remove one of the rods to fix some paint and it was quite difficult to get out - exactly what I was looking for. I initially used some classic gray JB Weld, which I think is...

Garett Brackett: This stuff is great, but be prepared, it can be a bit messy. Do it in an area where you do not want plastic residual all over the place. Most importantly, be sure that you follow the instructions and mix the product for the correct amount of time. It does not come out pre-mixed and if you do not mix it, it will not work. Very easy to clean up the parts that are not solid. The parts that are solid are just that, SOLID. You will not get it off, and it works well on plastic projects big and small. Great product in great packaging and simple to follow instructions.

Joe Bouler: I used this to attach a rear view mirror to the inside of the windshied of my truck. I'm aware there is a special adhesive especially for rear view mirrors but it's expensive and usually just enough for only one application. With this, I was able to attach my rear view mirror and have plenty left over for other things. It is holding very well and the mirror is tight. I prefer two individual tubes of epoxy instead of the syringe. This comes with a mixing tube that attaches to the end of the syringe. You will only use it once. After using it the epoxy inside the tube will harden and you'll never get it out. The expoxy inside the tube is wasted. You will do better to throw away the mixing tube and apply equal parts of epoxy on a piece of cardboard and mix it with a wooden toothpick. The product is excellent. I just don't like the syringe it comes in. With two individual tubes there is much less waste.

Dustin: Update to my original 2 star review. The epoxy is not 1 hour or even a 24 hour cure. It will set in about 2 days but the cure time is more like 7-9 days. So don’t believe a thing the package says. Treat this epoxy as you would any other and stick to the 7 days to 1 month time for a complete cure.

With that out of the way, I used this Epoxy to install a sphearical bearing into my Caliber 3 Raked, 50 degree, 158mm RPK longboard trucks.

The epoxy did cure enough after two days for me to use the truck but the epoxy did remain soft for about a week and a half. It then became part of the metal and you can no longer push a needle into it let alone make a dent with your finger nail.

To be honest it’s holding surprisingly well, so well that I know it’s not going to be failing on me. Like I said it’s now fused to the aluminum hanger on the truck. And it completely changed the way the skateboard pumps. I thought the 99a thane plugs I had in it were making it a soild pumper. But it’s literally as if I installed a precision truck.

So for anyone that wishes to use this for that purpose, it will do the job well. Just don’t pay any attention to what the...
