ExCarGuy: I have a 24 year old Sinkmaster that still works great, except the original splash guard would fly out sometimes when using it. My wife has been looking for a replacement locally for a long time but couldn't find one that would fit. I found these on Amazon, ordered them and hoped it would fit. Perfect! Nice and snug, surprisingly flexible and doesn't fly out. I measured the opening at 3" and had a little concern that these were 3 1/8", but that extra 1/8" provides the snug fit I think. Now, what do I do with the 2nd one and then remember where I put it when I need to replace it again!

Ross Binkley: This baffle replacement fits perfectly for my Sink Master Model 750. The fit is very snug with no movement at all as the sink and garbage disposal are used.

My previous baffle was very old, had become hard, and had shrunk to the point that it could (and sometimes did) fall down into the drain/disposal. This replacement completely eliminates that problem. It fits and works exactly as it should.

As expected, installation was trivial. Literally just grab the old one, pull it out, and throw it away, then push this one down into position until it sits on the lip of the drain that it's supposed to rest on.

Coming in a 2-pack is nice, as now there's a replacement on-hand for if/when this one eventually wears out.

Dave: The old splash guard..hard and shrunken and twisted. But I just thought maybe I had picked up the wrong piece somewhere in the past. Finally got REALLY tired of it falling into the drain and also clogging up with food. Not to mention it seemed to never stay clean more than 24 hours.

Finally picked up this 2 piece replacement pack. With the tape measure laid flat across the sink, i had measured the diameter of my Sinkmaster disposal...came out somewhere between 3 1/3 and 3 1/2 inches. So I was worried that maybe this 3 1/8" part was too small. But it is pretty much a perfect fit as much as I can tell.

If your splash guard is at all stiff, upgrade it. If it clogs up with food you have to press through, upgrade it. I feel silly having waited so long to replace a relatively cheap part. $3.50 each... The new one is a nice tight fit, I don't expect it would ever fall into the drain. Also the flaps keep water and food from splashing out, but feel barely stiffer than thick paper...another indicator I waited far too long to replace it. The old one was as stiff as the sole of a shoe.

Saturn V: These are well constructed but make sure you are buying the right size. I bought these and they were too small for my unit so I returned them.
