Andrea PolkAndrea Polk: I recently updated my bathroom and wanted to hang some useful, yet unobtrusive shelves for daily beauty supplies. I didn't want to put up anything too dark or tough to clean, and yet I wanted the shelves to be durable and strong. I wanted them to be able to hold up to 5 pounds on a routine basis.

This 2-pack of 15" long clear acrylic shelves caught my eye immediately! I have a few other acrylic holders, and I know the material is easy to clean and I've never had acrylic of 1/4" or more thickness break with general use.

Upon unboxing I was happy to find both shelves free from scratches or dings. They had been wrapped in bubble wrap and well packaged along with the necessary screws and wall anchors. (*1 extra anchor and screw were in the set I received.)

The included directions were perfect, which I find to be a rarity with most products. The written directions included the size of drill bit needed for the wall anchors which was great. The directions also had color photos of each step and a list of needed tools for installation. This all made putting up the shelves in the desired location a breeze!

Modern Xena: i ordered these on a whim and wasn't expecting much. i was wrong. these are great, sturdy shelves that are extremely easy to install - it's like hanging a picture. the acrylic is thick, solid, and clear and doesn't look as if it will crack easily. not sure how much weight it will hold - right now i just have my skincare on there, so maybe 1-2 pounds per shelf? it took that weight easily, no bowing. definitely a great investment. i'd get some for my shower, but i didn't see any with suction cups.

Amber McGrawAmber McGraw: These shelves are very nice, but they are a little pricey for what they are made out of. They were somewhat hard to install. My fiancé had a very hard time getting the screw protectors into the wall and actually lost one inside of the wall. Other than that, they are very sturdy and will hold quite a bit. I definitely feel like I need more of these now!
