It smells like pepper and is nice and strong. Has a nice tight seal on the top and it tasted great in the homemade bacon. The top is wide enough to put a table spoon scoop in and brush off excess.

msdeepree: I've begun to buy this brand in multiples due to the ease of having it shipped right to me and the quality of this product. I prefer a coarse textured black pepper and this one fits my preference. I would highly recommend it!

M.S. Butterfly: Most store brand pepper is just black dust, with no or very little pepper taste. Not this stuff! It looks smells like quality pepper. And comes sealed to retain freshness. Tastes like fresh ground pepper and a little bit goes a long way. I was so use to having to put a lot to get even just a little hint of pepper that I sprinkled the amount I usually would when using other brands. I ended up with very peppery chicken. Even smells fresh. It's a great price considering you don't need much. I will continue to buy, unless they change the price.
