David: 1/4NPT fittings can be tricky. There are at least two different styles (or types), and I found the fittings in this kit do not support all my other air tools. I thought they would be seamless and interchangeable but, in order to use my other air tools, I needed to change out the fitting on the air tool or hose I intended to use, in order to work with the ones supplied in this kit. And, I could not find any reference to the “type” of fittings in this kit that indicates what type they are.
