Tesla: I use these furniture felt pads under crystal, glass, metal, and even unglazed pottery. It has great sticking power and the felt protects wooden desk tops, tables tops, china cabinets--you name it!--from scratches. The white is almost invisible under crystal. I use the brown for everything else. Have even used these under wooden chair legs to prevent scratches and screeching noise when moving the chairs on a smooth tile floor.

kattniss: I have these on everything I can get them on. I love my kitchen chairs do not make a sound when you move them. I got them to protect my knew vinyl plank flooring and they have done there job. The stickers for the cabinets do not last they all fell off within a week, but the rest are great.

Jerry D: Except for tile floors in the bathrooms, everything in our home is hardwood. That is great, looks good, we like it, but.
And that is a big but. Chairs stools, some tables, etc. are made with hard tips on their legs. On other surfaces, that would be ok, on hardwood, not so much.
I have found however that putting one of these adhesive pads on each leg of the stool, chair or table, immediately solves the problem. No scratching of the floor at all, plus the movement of items is much quieter. After a period, (months) the pads will wear out and have to be replaced. But Hey, they served their purpose. If you have this issue, I would recommend. Saved my floors from scars and scratches
