PEC: I had 3 of these hangers and none would fit over the top of my new front door, which I discovered is thicker than the previous one!
I spent over an hour looking on Amazon at hangers, specifically at the dimensions. Many were not clear on whether they would fit a thicker door or they were clearly not wide enough.
This product states it would fit a door with a thickness of about 2 inches so I decided to take a chance.
It fits over the top of the door perfectly, is sturdy and good looking. The door closes without a problem. I am very happy with it!
