There was a time when quality Indian restaurants had a small bowl of candy-coated fennel seeds and a tiny spoon next to the hostess stand. So when you left you poured a little spoonful into the palm of your hand to cleanse your palate and to act as a digestive. Since the pandemic, that little freebie has dried up. So I ordered this product after having some take-out Indian food and recalling how much I enjoyed fennel seeds! These are really tasty, and amazingly, even a small amount serves to quash a sweet tooth following a meal.
So I'm ordering these again!

I love these candied fennel seeds! They taste so good that I actually use them as a "dessert" after dinner. I take a spoonful of them, mixed with the plain organic fennel seeds I also reviewed here on Amazon, to not just help with digestion and upset stomach, but because they are so delicious!
This brand of candied fennel seeds is extra delicious- they are fresh and crispy. I have actually tasted plenty of candied fennel seeds that were "soft" and even a little soggy. I feel assured when eating these that they are fresh and not super old, like others I've tried. I will continue to repurchase these :) I mix them in a big air-tight jar with the plain fennel seeds to get a nice mix of the two.

Got this super fast! My mom always kept candied fennel on the counter in a jar when I was little, we would chew some when we had tummy troubles. I ordered this product and received it in 2 days, great product, great quality and great price. I already gave some to my husband for his gassy tummy! works like a charm.

J's Opinion:
I tried this kind of fennel seed in a restaurant and liked them. They are a nice after dinner treat as you get a hit of sweet and some digestive help from the fennel. So, I set out to buy some for home.
Perhaps my memory is flawed, but I think these seeds are more sweet than the ones I got in the restaurant. I wish there wasn't such a thick candy coating - to me, it makes them too sweet. But I am not a big sugar eater (you know the kind that scrapes frosting off of a cake).
That said, they are tasty and have stayed fresh for a long time. Note: I am storing them in a jar.
