R: Look, I know it’s silly to say I love a trash can- but I love this trash can. The color is great and it goes with all my stainless steel appliances. It holds way more than I thought it would which is awesome! And the little charcoal holder on the inside lid is a great bonus as it helps stop odor.

Smith: Love this trashcan, the shape and size met my needs. It lays almost flat against the wall, and is big enough. I bought it in Dec. 2021 and within a year's time it didn't shut all the way. It just recently broke on top so the inner can doesn't sit right. But! It's a good price and so I bought and one, the same one, to replace it. It's worth it since it meets my needs.

Avery DawsonAvery Dawson: Wow, the package arrived late but was not damaged. Excitedly, I opened the box only to discover that the trash can was severely damaged (pictures included). Upon actually feeling the quality, I can see why. This trash can is extremely low quality for its price. At $130 you can get a real stainless steel, motion sensor trash can. I am having them replace this because my current location is sold out of such trash cans. If it arrives damaged again, the review stands. Here’s hoping customer service redeems my faith.

M. Lang: I purchased this for us in my new kitchen. I have all stainless steel appliances, so the appearance matches well. I have been pleased. It is nicely constructed. I like the removable insert. The lid also works very easily. I did initially find it hard to hold the lid open. However, after an email to the vendor, they explained that one needs to lift up on the lid as it is coming up, before it reaches past about 30-60 degrees open. Then one can pull it back to stay open very easily. If you use the foot pedal to fully open the lid, and then try to push it back to stay, it is very difficult. It comes with an odor-reducing filter which I suppose helps but is hard for me to judge. I have not noticed any odors with the lid closed.

All in all, this is a very good product that looks good and functions well. I prefer to use larger trash bags that do not stretch tight around the insert. There is a little clearance around the edge of the insert for the top of the bag to fold over and down for a neat fit. However, I initially had problems getting the edge of the bag to stay put while I lowered the insert into the can. I easily solved this by getting some larger rubber bands. I now fold...

Jo-Ann Campbell: I bought this product after reading some of the reviews and liking the features such as the 'stay in place' tab, where you can put a bit of your garbage bag through and prevents the bag from falling into the bin. It is an invaluable feature.
I really like how wide it stays open and the soft close lid. The wideness of it is also a positive feature, in that it gives lots of room when plate scraping and litter box dumping.
We have gone through a few garbage cans, that also have to be aesthetically pleasing, because we don't have a cupboard to hide it, and all of them have been sub-par. This one is not only nice to look at but it delivers and is very sturdy.
I give this can 2 thumbs up and 5 stars.
If you get it on sale like I did, even better!

Subeesh: The 13.2G SS step trash can has an excellent finish and perfect to use. Great match if you have Stainless Steel finish appliances in your kitchen. No complex design outside, easy to clean and maintain. Yet to buy the right size trash bags that would fit without slipping off the can. Just started to use and hope not to see any issues.

DCS: It’s an excellent trashcan. I particularly like the fact that it has a large opening and that the top goes almost vertical when you step on the lever making it easy to scrape plates. I don’t know about durability as I’ve only been using it for a day, but it looks very robust. I’m using regular glad garbage bags and they fit perfectly held in place quite well. I like that the inner liner should hold any spills which was the problem with my previous garbage.The brushed stainless finish is also quite nice. Packaging was excellent as the can was completely encapsulated in Styrofoam to prevent damage from shipping and mine arrived in perfect condition.
