Richard S: As a user of 0.5mm mechanical pencils I prefer an extra fine tip to allow me to write smaller text. These pens do that without the scratchyness that many other extra fine/micro ball points seem to have.

I should note that these have a plastic or wax cover over the ball tip so be sure to remove that before using the pen. That took me a few minutes to figure out, never having encountered that before.

Otherwise, these are great and the permanency of the ink when writing checks (cheques?) is the main benefit.

Suzannah: I go through a lot of pens - writing notes and signing charts all day and in thirty years settled on this one, LONG AGO, as my favorite. I hate writing with anything else. So I stock up when I find them. The fine tip, the dark ink, the comfortable grip - how it fits in that little sliver of a pocket in my scrubs pants. Everything about it is perfect. Not going to ever switch - even when I retire.

GMaBear: My new favorite pen. The fine tip with smooth ink is a rare find. Never messy, constant flow, & nice shade of blue that allows me to write smaller, yet still easy to read. Wish the Deal price was the everyday price, but I'm sure I'll eventually buy more.

Sharon: I like these retractable ball point pens for everyday use in writing and crafting. They have a medium point and produce an even consistent line and they don't skip. Since they're retractable I can carry one in my purse without it marking the inside lining. The price is reasonable. Yes, I would recommend these pens for everyday use.

D. Thomas: While does not write as fluidly as the ONYX micro series, these pens are still pretty great. The retractable tip esnures that I will make less of a mess on my hands and in my pockets. One thing to note is that when first using the product there seems to be a small "ball" of hardened ink on the tip. Once this is removed the ink flows well.
The colour on the ONYX series is better but this is still a fine blue pen. Great feel in your hands if you have to write frequently as I do.
