Heather Thompson: Ok, so yes, I know. This purchase is for 12 locks that are all keyed the same. I purchased this product and was happy with it months and months ago. but then I was having some theft from someone who copied a key and needed to change out all the locks with a new lock set. And different keys. So I purchased another 12 locks from this same company since I was happy with the first set. when they arrived today. I used the new key on an old lock and by Gollygeez the new key opens the old locks. Meaning anyone that has purchased these locks in the past could open up anyone else's locks of the same brand. This does not provide any security.
I can imagine a company having a set number of different key combinations and not hundreds of different keys, but it is highly unlikely that it was a fluke I just happened to get a random set with the same keys as my first set from months ago.
I would not purchase if you need security that is open to public areas.

Jean-Marc Genier: I got these to have 10 locks that all have the same key. Locks are cheap but the price does reflect this. If i needed a bulk lot of locks that all have the same key I would buy again.
