The color looks fantastic on her and it has lasted longer than her other leather collar (which started chipping away pretty immediately). I will buy from here again in a heartbeat since it seems like this collar is higher quality than the first brand. The only thing I don’t like about this collar is the little piece that’s supposed to hold down excess material always moves so the excess strap isn’t always held down. She is wearing size medium, for reference.

Jaimie Harper: Although I dislike the color (Hubby picked out the red/orange color), the collar itself is really nice. We’ve had it a week so far without any issues (thank God because it’s actually pretty pricey for a dog collar). We had an issue with the fabric collars rubbing my dogs neck raw but this collar slides across his fur like silk so even though I’m not in absolute love with the color, the collar was a great buy.

YellowEvvYellowEvv: I added an extra hole in the belt to make it a size smaller, and based on how difficult it was to do so I can say it’s quite durable! If the collar is only slightly too large, use a hammer and nail to drive a new hole into the correct length. I use the orange one for my cat as part of the “convict kitty” indoor cats thing. She’s very adorable in it and it does it’s job perfectly.

JHJH: Hardware is nice and solid, and still shiny after a few months. Leather is thick, but pliable, and well stitched. Wipes clean after a good ol' roll in bunny turds. Color is true to pics, not name, so the "light green" really is in the family of turquoise/aqua/teal as pictured. Our 12" neck,15lb Jack Russell is on the middle hole of the small, smack dab in the middle of the 11-13" range. The extra length is neatly held by a metal link and leather ring, so there's nowhere for other dogs at camp to grab. I can't see any area that will be prone to wear or snapping (unlike the broken plastic buckle collar this one replaced). That being said, I still use his harness for walking because our spritely guy could still jump/yank and snap his neck. I also keep the tags by the buckle so all the "weight" still hangs from the neck front. I would buy again, but looks like we won't need to for a long while!
