Hope Hatton: I am a realtor and have been a land investor in the past. I thought I knew a lot.... until I read this book! There were so many things in this book that I was not aware of, that I am definitely keeping this book as a reference! The initial chapters are written in story form, making them much more entertaining to read! And the checklists in the second half bring up so many different terms and laws from almost every US state... and some universal wisdom for buying anywhere in the world. If you are thinking about investing in land, give this book a read first! It may save you a lot of money in the long run.

Erock: I have always enjoyed investing in land. There’s so much upside, such as the countless ways to bring in residual income. Also, my favorite reason is that land is a tangible investment with so much potential for utility. However, when I began my investment journey, I read several books about the subject, which focused on “how to invest” or was a book-length sales pitch about land investing. I had never thought about listing the common mistakes of this type of investing. What was shocking to discover when reading this book was to realize I had made some of these mistakes. Even more so, I could see myself making some of the other mistakes listed in these pages, despite my seven years of experience. I don’t just suggest this book as a good read for anyone investing. This book is a necessity for land investors.

Read_Writes: I am new to land investment and came across this book just in time. Especially now when real estate, both commercial and or residential land, are taking a hit. In order to make an informed decision, I picked this one and got deep insights on commonly overlooked aspects when buying a land. Although as a buyer one might expect the agent to take care of the intricacies. It is not a bad idea to be informed at your end.
I found this book to be delivering the nitty gritty on many fronts. It is detailed and brings up interesting facts that I never knew existed as a criteria to be considered when investing in commercial properties.
I highly recommend this.
