Barby Pickett: This book was a series of testimonials of people searching for truth in faith. It witnesses the patience and live of our Lord and the challenges these people found looking for a faith that made sense based of their lifestyle, needs and moral values. I related to the struggles that were discussed even though I am a cradle Catholic. I have friends that have expressed concerns regarding Catholicism that I have never understood until reading this book. I plan to read it again.

B. Parker: I am a cradle Catholic and my husband is a convert. When he converted from being a Baptist we had been married for eight years. During those eight years I continued to go to Mass every Sunday without him. Then one Sunday in our church bulletin they were asking for volunteers to coach the 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams. My husband and I volunteered, he reluctantly at first because he wasn't Catholic and didn't know if the church would want or allow him to do so. I assured him that would not be an issue. interacting with our priests, the children and their parents he decided he wanted to investigate the Catholic religion. He went through the RICA classes and it was during this time that I learned more about my Catholic beliefs. He would ask me questions about certain traditions and beliefs and I didn't have an answer, except to say "that's what I believe", So, I went to the classes with him and thankful I did, because just like your books, I am a more informed and excited Catholic.
I have ordered your second and third Surprised By Truth books and can't wait to read them.
