C. J. Rollins: This box comes unassembled, but easy to build. It provides good storage and seems to be waterproof up to this point of my ownership. The roller wheel is ok, but not fantastic and the construction of the individual parts are a little flimsy. I'm still rating this 4 stars as it suits my needs fairly well.

JennJenn: We had some 50mph winds take it from beside our house, through our yard, through a corn field, and into another corn field. We found it (behind the trees) intact minus the lid. The lid was ripped off in our yard. The only cracks are where the lid tethers ripped out and one on the lid. It’s a little banged up, and probably not as weather resistant as it was, but it survived. My kid and I put it together quickly and it stayed dry inside before the wind incident.

Joshua 5: Nice box for the price. However you will need to invest in some weather stripping and calk to water seal it which is fairly simple to do.
The only thing I don't like is the lock mechanism, it is much to weak. Looks like someone could just pull a bit and poof the box would open despite it being locked. The size is nice, and it is ultra easy to put together. It isn't going to be a sturdy box if this is what you are looking for, it is fairly flimsy but I just bought a couple of mending braces and screwed them into the corners which makes it a bit more sturdy.

Barb Burns: I priced different sized boxes. For under $100 they're generally much smaller than this, and the next size up (+ 20gall) seem to jump $50 - $100 in price.

Bought it to store a bouncy castle for the winter, and it will fit.

Yep, little boys & girls.... this gal purchased this for storage INDOORS!
I'm in a condo, I've no decent downstairs storage room, and this little behemoth holds more than I could ever EVER want or need!!!!

In fact, I'm back for order #3. Tis a large room that I have capable of holding 2 of these puppies.... all 'storageable materials' that I've no room otherwise on the 21st floor within a condo scenario 'lack of storage' and not to mention clean storage downstairs without tire dust getting all over everything down there.

So fine.... I've turned one tiny room into basic and major storage in my life.... does that really make me a hoarder? I THINK NOT!!
At least I'm reality-driven to admit my 'storage needs'.... how 'bout you ??

I purchased this box as a cheap toy box for my son's outside stuff. The side walls are very deep, and make it tough for a toddler to get anything out from the bottom.

When you open the box it feels very flimsy and weak, but after assembly it was sturdy enough, although not sturdy enough to sit on. The lid hinge system is very weak, and I don't know how long I expect it to last. I have included pictures of the hinges that didn't exactly line up.

The lid also has a very weak strap to keep the lid from falling open. Again, I have longevity concerns.

The box has an issue where it holds water on the top of the box, this has no effect on the contents as everything stayed dry, but the water pours off when you open it causing a different issue.

Overall it does it's job so far and it's not bad for the money.

Been through the hottest then the wettest summer in history and the lid warped in the heat and now water collects in the bottom. The hinges I was concerned with held up fine but the flimsy material of the lid has not weathered well. It will contain toys and protect them from soaking...
