Princessprimms: I've had some of these books before and the songs don't often sound like they should - this book does not dissapoint! I am an adult who is learning violin, just about to take grade 3 exam - I looooooove this book, it's got such a great range of sings from older and newer Disney movies. It's so nice to play so many things you recognise and even if some are a bit more simple, they're great for bowing practice.

fireblazer: A book for nearly £15 you would expect it would not be damaged. Never mind, the music is still legible. Cannot be bother with the return process. My daughter loves trying to play the music and that's all the matters.

Nunya: I love the selection of songs, but was disappointed I didn't notice there would be no lyrics accompanying the music score. As a complete beginner, it would be helpful if the words to the songs were in this book. It is hard to follow a tune you don't know, to a song you only vaguely remember from your childhood. I am still determined to play some of these songs, but it is going to take longer without the words to the music. There is a good selection of titles in this book and if you already know the songs, maybe the words don't matter to you. Other than that, nice book.

‘80’sBaby’50’sLady: As a novice violin player, I guess I was far more green than I wanted to admit because I have found it very difficult to play several of these pieces without scrolling through Google for an accompanying arrangement to listen to beforehand so I could follow along with the sheet music. I really wish it had some kind of online audio that came with it so you could tell if what you were playing was correct. If you’re just starting out and want to learn some fun tunes, I’d start with something less cumbersome, and for sure look for the audio to come with the sheet music, but if you’ve been playing for a while maybe you would find it more enjoyable. I’m assuming this will get more use once I’ve been playing for a longer timeframe.

Jing: This is a very fun book with most of the memorable favorites in the Disney-verse. The songs are appropriate for a beginner; if you're an intermediate player you won't find much challenging. However, the melodies are all there and a great way for beginning players to stay interested and get additional playing practice.

cons:

- layout of songs is pretty compacted; with shorter songs suffering page-breaks. (e.g. some short songs start on the bottom half of one page, and end of the upper half of the next page). I would've liked to see better layout to group the the songs in a better way to have fewer short songs with page-breaks.

- very minimal annotations for bowing/fingering/styling. Not an issue for more experienced players, but I would've liked more annotations to help out beginner players sound their best.
