Overall, still need to try to recipes, but I was expecting, based on the sample, a nice cookbook to add to my collection with nice pictures to help choose what to make. However, the whole inside feels like a cheap photocopy. Not decided yet if I will return it or not.

The book has a good selection of recipes that are easy to follow and a good assortment for the every day home baker. The only thing I would change is add some color to the book - it is all in Black and White.
Also, the free offer in the back of the book doesn't work-- very disappointing.

I like how the recipes has cups, teaspoons, tablespoons that doesn't throw you off when they say to add ozs or grams. The recipes are simple and are easy to follow.

I love the way the book is designed and how the recipes are displayed throughout the book. I had a bread machine for a couple of years and rarely used it. However, this book motivated me to give it a try! After eating me and my family "Crusty Sourdough Bread" and seeing everyone loving it! I couldn't stop. Now I have been baking fresh bread nearly every day and trying all sorts of recipes from the book. I feel like a mad baker, haha...!
I also enjoyed reading "The History of Bread Making" it was exciting and several health facts about bread.

This was going to be a present for my sister. When it arrived I had a look through and wasn't impressed, what few pictures there are being in black and white. I'll now end up keeping it for myself. there's probably some new recipes I can use but it's just not up to it to give as a present. I have three books of my own , bought from The Works and garden centers , cost far less and are a lot better.

I am so pleased to find this book. I have a bread maker, and I only make the one type of bread out of it. I’ve sort of gotten stuck; I regularly make the one bread I know how to do and haven’t broken out of that rut! But now I intend to.
I’m looking forward to trying sourdough bread, the dinner rolls recipe, and the southern cornbread. And homemade hamburger buns! There are so many things I can do with my bread maker that I didn’t realize I could. I didn’t know I could make pound cake or carrot cake in a bread maker. Who knew?
This book is well laid out, easy to follow, has a ton of bread, rolls, and cake recipes to try. Great find.
