I bought this for my hair and body so I absolutely love that it has a coconut scent. That being said, it wouldn't necessarily work well for cooking everything, but would certainly be fine for some things. Like every other natural coconut oil this will solidify if it gets cool (below 77° F) and melt when it's warm. If it is solid all you have to do is set the bottom of the container in a few inches of warm water. (That anyone had a hard time figuring that out sort of boggles my mind.) Completely as expected. Nice big bottle for the price. Will buy again.

It smells amazing. You have to heat it up to get it to liquify first. I put it in a sink of hot water for 10 minutes to get it to come out. Otherwise it is a solid and you can’t get it to come out of tbe bottle. Not sure if there is a better way. Doesn’t say anything on the bottle about this

I’m not really interested in the person that said people know what you’re buying before you purchase it. I know exactly what I’m buying. But when you put firm coconut oil in a bottle and it is so hard, you can’t get it out. Sorry that’s not what people expect when they buy something in a portable container. If it had a lid on it that could screw off like a jar where I could scoop it out and use it that would be fine but this is not what it is, is a small opening and this solidifies in colder temperatures. Now my house is set to 76° and it has yet to unthaw or liquefy. It is useless and non-returnable. Total BS and a rip off and I don’t care what some might say about reading or knowing what you’re buying. When it says coconut oil, that’s what I expect to get! It’s pretty clear coconut oil!!!!! Ripoff!!

Used this oil and it is pure coconut Oil, I've used coconut oil before in Sri Lanka. this is just like the same... Some people have mentioned in their reviews saying it was like frozen Inside, I must say that is how it is... In cold weather conditions it will freez inside the bottle. keep it in the sun and it will melt nicely. Highly Recommended A+++++

I DON'T WRITE REVIEWS, but before you go off reading all of the other horrible reviews from people who don't know what they are purchasing PLEASE READ THIS.
I consider myself a coconut oil connoisseur given that I actually know how to make it, and I've bought so many different brands. Given that I am no longer in a climate that ideal for me to be making it, THIS IS THE BRAND TO BUY.
COCONUT OIL SOLIDIFIES UNDER 75 DEGREES. It is a fact. My bedroom is fairly cool so I consistently have a chunky texture, but if it is good and warm... I get a liquid. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO PUT THIS IN THE MICROWAVE... people... it changes the structure of the oil, and if the bottle didn't explode on you... I wish it did.
You can sit the bottle in a sunny window sill for 5 minutes and it'll melt. Coconut oil is so fast to melt you could just sit it in warm water. If you want a refined crappy oil... yes, buy a "liquid" refined coconut oil. But this is The BEST QUALITY oil, at The BEST PRICE.
