Cari: My two dogs need joint supplements. One is nearly 15 and arthritic but still pretty active despite the shaky legs and pain, and the other is 9 but had TPLO surgery so the surgeon recommended getting him on joint supplements since arthritis was inevitable for such a surgery. The ones that we had him on recommended by them are expensive on a monthly basis so even though they work beautifully I was looking for something a little more budget friendly (TRP-Tri-COX for those familiar). One of my dogs just refused these entirely but he's a picky little punk so I'm not that surprised, it took jealousy from the other dog getting daily treats for him to even eat the TTC before. My dog that had TPLO surgery will eat them, but I'm just not seeing the same benefits. He still limps around a bit following laying down for long periods or after a good long walk. They may be good for many, or maybe mine just need a stronger "prescription" version, who knows. We have tried a few so far but I think we will be forced to go back to the TTC.

xoa mitch: i have an irish wolfhound that is 184 lbs. he's turning 6 and for an extra large breed 6 is geriatric. i have tried different types of joint relief, but either he didn't eat them or i didn't notice a difference.. there was even a type his chiropractor highly recommended - and they made him throw up ! he started leaving out little cries when he was laying down and after x rays and chiropractor care we couldn't see what was causing the pain. i decide to try these at christmas , based on the ingredients. he ate the first 3 i gave him , which made me excited, but i have had to disguise them in some food ever since. But the important thing was he stopped crying in pain after a few weeks. they lasted a few months ( bc sometimes i forget ) and i just recently ran out. with everything else going on i didn't jump on line to order more , and after about a week he started crying out at night again . after hearing that happen just 2 times , i knew i had to reorder ASAP!
i couldn't give 5 stars for pain relief , because i am not him and i don't know how he feels , just like i don't know what the flavor is . i can say that that one behavior is improved since taking these and i do think that...

Lois W. Roark: I have one dog with hip dysplasia and have had her on Hemp products for about 8 months now. I have seen an increased ability in her to lift her hind quarters enough to do her business (she has to be carried outside) and even scoot across the floor that is carpeted. This is my first experience with this particular Hemp product so I have not had time to tell if it is any better than the others. I did however appreciate the direct contact from the company which manufactures it. I will continue to use it and soon should tell if there is more improvement than I had with the other products. They are all very similar in price and both my dogs seem to like this one just fine.
P.S.
After having been on this product now for over a year we can tell a distinct difference in our little four legged baby's ability to use her rear legs. She seems to be able to lift them a little better which has increased her ability to move around. Still unable to move on hard surfaces but is much better in her mobility with the hind quarters. I fully attribute it to the Hip and Joint supplement.
