Get your pair today and start swimming with confidence!Self Radiance: .....and I was happily surprised. 6-8 ft (face height) today and these allowed me to get out easily. Take note: I clipped the fingertips off because I figured they would fill with water and slip off. Caught a couple of nice rides and these remained on throughout. Will they last? Time will tell, but I'm presently happy with the purchase. BTW...I did not find them that difficult to get on......perhaps next time I will go a size smaller but I was able to get these on dry with no problem.

MikeInWeston: For SE Florida shore dives this is exactly what I wanted. These were a replacement for a neoprene pair. On/off is easy when sized correctly, best put on in the water after fins if the fins are snug (I got them on but the gloves made it a little difficult), but otherwise they work just like bare handed.
The gloves enhanced my lobster snare and a pole spear grips. With all that plus a game bag slung from my float I was worried the gloves would complicate things changing tools but they were fine.
The web helped me fight a current I was only able to barely maintain with fins alone. That game bag becomes a sea-anchor when unraveled. The gloves made all the difference. I needed minimal effort with them to make good progress into the current.
Back at shore-break I left everything on the float to remove the gloves inside-out first, which were easy to pop back into shape using the water.
If I had caught anything I believe they would have worked fine. Lobster spines do not appear to be a danger, and as long as a grouper or hog was dead I wouldn't expect it to slip away. I was hoping for a lionfish and worried the whole time about THOSE spines, though.
I'll...

Amazon Customer: Putting them on seems to be the toughest part of using them. I assume they will loosen up at the wrist level over time. Putting them on dry doesn't work for me. Spray Silicon is not much better because it dries up pretty quick. I could not find silicon paste.
Keeping the hands in water is the best option for me. First pull the 1st glove over your 4 fingers as far as you can go, all the way down to the notch between your thumb and index finger. Then insert your thumb, then finish pulling it on, then remove any bunching at the wrist.
The 2nd glove is harder because the hand with the first glove can't grab the latex of the 2nd glove very well, esp in water. Pull the 2nd glove over your 4 fingers as far as you can go, down to that notch. Then insert your thumb. Then pull the latex over the wrist. If it still bunches under itself at the wrist, and you can't get your 1st gloved hand to unbunch it, then use a wooden popsicle stick, work it under the wrist latex, and unbunch the latex. The popsicle stick has no sharp edges to damage the latex, and it will float if you drop it.
Hope this helps.

Guillermo Arnal: They are great, tho you need to retrain yourself to swim with an opened hand, but other than that! Very recommended! Let’s wait a few months and re-review then

Calvin R: The Fit guide is accurate. These gloves dramatically increase pull. Cannot fall off.

Oldblueeyes: Honestly I thought these things would be more gimmick than useful on the reef but I was very wrong. The gloves are a rubber or silicon material with the same material welded over the fingers to create the webbing. The gloves are just thick enough that handling the occasional pokey piece of live rock didn't pierce the material, but I still retained a bit of sensation of what I was touching. I was pretty rough with these things during my spearing dives but they show no signs of wear and tear.
In terms of their function as a swimming aid, I found them extremely helpful in maintaining my depth/position on the reef. When I used my hands to assist in my forward motion they added a considerable amount of pull to my stroke. I was also able to use them to wave sand away from clams and such I was investigating on the sea floor.
Way more useful than I was anticipating and I would definitely recommend them.

ArtOfBalance: First thing’s first: The BEST customer experience one can have. After receiving my order for a women’s M (based on the chart), I realized the fit was probably not as tight as it should be. I was in a time crunch before leaving on a flight days later after a holiday weekend, and decided to call the number on the website. Fancy my luck these guys work a few states away. I spoke with the owner directly, explained the fit issue and my time dilemma and inquired about the booties they make.
We got on to quite the chat, and after learning I was a photographer and would be in Indonesia surfing and taking photos in the surf, not only did he sort out my personal order, but he set me up and upgraded my shipping to make sure I got everything I needed in time.
Second order of business: Quality. Usually when you learn of a product being biodegradable you tend to get flimsy quality products. Not these. These are well-made, well-sealed, durable, sturdy, and from my experience easy to take on and off without any hang-ups. They even make a spray for those who struggle to get the hang of it. I’m moving almost all of my purchasing power into the realm of conscious consumerism....
