The pictures are Small size. The pictures actually make them look larger. As you can see it still covers a cat or small dog.
As others have mentioned, Small is indeed VERY small. However, I’ve found other blankets such as baby blankets are too large and heavy for cats. I’ve tried placing a blanket on them and they will move away. With these for the first time the cats and little 10lb dog stayed in place and accepted the blankets. They’re lightweight enough that it doesn’t bother or disturb them when you place it on them.
So for my use it’s perfect. Some dogs don’t like to be completely covered, others are ok. Will get more for the little ones and medium for our other small dogs.

Dixienites: These blankets are so, so soft. The material is lightweight and launders well without pilling or shedding. They are a perfect size for my dog's bed. If they had a human size I'd buy one for me!
