soandso: I use this to make holes in plastic lids to fit aerogarden pods. When my plants get too big for the aerogarden I transfer them to individual jars. This saw works pretty well on plastic just hand cranking it. the center drill must go in first to anchor it. Then outer circle automatically engages. Once that happens you can grasp the outer ring to grind your cutout. On plastic it helps to go forward and then back and forth when it starts to catch. Shaking out the shredded plastic a few times helps too. When it starts to break through just going backwards (counter clockwise) helps to ease it smoothly through all around. I plan to use a power drill with it to make holes in Rubbermaid Roughneck totes for a multiple plant Kratky setup.

StormTrackerJay2: I needed a 1 1/4" hole saw to cut into some moderate plastic for a home project and it worked just fine, tho it seems that the hole was slightly larger than the 1 1/4" as indicated for the description. No problem, I just used a bit of extra plumbing thread tape and some waterproof silicone sealant and soft plastic waterproof washers to keep it sealed quite well. It worked good on my cordless drill with no problems. Otherwise, no issues with this lenox hole saw blade and it came with the arbor too. 4 stars.

Justin StaggsJustin Staggs: I purchased this to cut a 1 1/4" hole in a stainless steel sink for a garbage disposal button and it worked flawlessly. It cut a nice, clean hole and did it remarkably fast. My ONLY complaint, and not really even a complaint, more like an observation, would be that after 4 uses, the paint is just completely gone to the depth I was cutting. I am totally fine with the paint not being there, all of the markings/size are engraved anyway, but why even bother with painting it? It has to add cost to the manufacturing process, and is then gone after the first day of use and smelled weird while it was rubbing off in the wood.
Aside of the paint, this is a fantastic hole saw and if I need any in the future, I am definitely going to be getting Lenox.
