Zupapa Outdoor Geometric Playground Set for Kids - Jungle Gym and Climbing Structure

Sanders: I purchased this dome 2 years ago to celebrate the birth of a grandchild, whose older brother would enjoy the use of and who would someday join him in playing on the dome. I was able to assemble it in a couple of hours without too much effort. It is sturdy, we can easily move it in the yard when needed to cut the grass. Our grandchild now at age 3 1/2 is able to climb and hang and very much enjoys it (we suspect it will get more use in the next few years). It has held up very well in the New England winters, but it did suffer some damage to 2 of the bars when a tree fell on it after a storm. I contacted Zupapa and Allison responded promptly, offering to send replacement bars for the dome, which arrived within a week by FedEx, exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend this product as a sturdy, quality open ended play structure allowing young children to move their bodies and enjoy non-digital outdoor play. This particular company provided excellent service as well,

Amazon girl: Very confusing to put together, it took over a week and then it was going for trash but someone offered to help and it finally went together. Kids like it but not worth the money and it was a NIGHTMARE to put it together. Instructions useless.

Aiden: I will say it is not easy to assemble. Took me about three hours complete with a help of my wife and son. Quality wise, this looks great. Cheaper than other Prime products and took three days from order to deliver. The customer service was also great that my first package was lost and then they sent me the second one right away.

Cons:
- unclear instructions and diagrams
- parts labelled in strange ways and also referred to as other colors
- NO extra nuts, bolts, or washers (don't lose anything!)

Oh. My. Goodness. My husband and I are handy people and these instructions were a mess. It took us 2.5 hours on the dot to assemble. The video helps a tad, but is still very unclear in areas. I've added my notes here so possibly those will help others while they assemble their sets. My keys points would be:

1. Use a long 13mm socket with a ratchet if you have one handy. This speeds up tightening exponentially.
2. Layer the bottom circle with one end of each pole on bottom and one end on top, and just keep the pattern consistent as you go around. The instructions AND video are both very unclear about base circle setup and the illustration is of no help.
3. Do not lose any pieces as there are **no extras of anything**. We used a magnetic bowl to make sure we didn't lose anything.
4. **Only on the bottom circle** the dome end of the bolt + washer are on the outside of the geodome with the nut + washer on the inside of...

BradBrad: I purchased the 6 ft model for my 4 year old child. Assembly was difficult - not an absolute nightmare like some have been having, but you definitely want to people to put this together (a 4 year old won't cut it). The instructions were not great, but acceptable. Besides the difficulty of holding the pieces in place while bolting them together, it was unclear on where to put the washers so I ended up bolting and unbolting some joints a couple times. The pictures appear to show a bolt on both sides of the joints, but if you read the detail of the text, it just says 1 washer (after requiring 2 per joint at the base). Also, a couple extra bolts and washers would have been nice just in case. The whole process (including trying it by myself, finding my 13 year old, bolting and unbolting) took under 2 hours.

Once built, it's pretty sturdy and stable. Even though the dimensions were provided in the product listing, it feels a bit smaller than I expected. The paperwork says 2-9 year olds, but I think the 6 ft model is realistically only good for up to about 6 years old.
