Zinus No-Assembly Metal Box Spring - Quickly Set Up & Enjoy Comfort

Lauren R.: I bought the full size on October 5, 2017 when I moved into my new apartment. When I received the box spring, it was in perfect condition. I had no problem getting this out of the box or onto my bed. For reference, I was in my early 30's, this was my own apt, so I did most of the moving by myself. I knew how much of a pain box springs were because the old ones back in the day were so heavy, and I was determined to "work smarter not harder," so I came to my favorite one stop shop, started looking and came across this GEM. This box spring was a BREEZE compared to everything else I had to move. It has been 6 years now, the box spring is still on my bed, and it still looks and feels brand new. I haven't had any issues with it. Great purchase. Highly recommend!!

janejane: When the box arrived to the door I couldn’t imagine that a boxspring could possibly fit. BUT Low-and-behold, I was wrong. It took two of us to initially wrestle the mattress open but once it opened it was “like magic” READY to go on the bed frame. I’m unsure how long that the mattress cover material will remain looking nice. It has that texture that makes me suspect it may not last. I hope that I am wrong “again”.. So far I am quite happy with this purchase. The price, front door delivery and my own capacity to carry it into the house by myself a double plus.

Taser Me: My experience with this box spring began with two surprises. The first was when I saw how narrow the shipping box was. I was certain that I had been sent the wrong item. The second surprise was after I had pulled the box spring out of the box and removed the plastic wrap. The thinness of the unit furthered my belief that I had been sent the wrong item.

Magic happened next. I am not a magician but I performed magic when I unfolded the unit and that skinny frame of metal and cloth suddenly filled out and in mere seconds transformed into a 9” thick twin XL box spring. Wow! The change was so cool, that I folded it and again unfolded it paying careful attention to the metal innards rising to the occasion.

Unlike many reviewers who wrote about how the box spring was a great solution for an upstairs bedroom, I had no such transportation concerns. I wanted a box spring to replace the squeaky and creaky wooden one that I had.
