Raygood: The title say it all. A made in China complete piece of garbage. Even the deliveryman was in disbelief that this was a box spring. He said, this must be a piece and the rest will come in another shipment. No, it was the complete box spring in pieces that you get to assemble like a Lego toy. Good grief - clearly no one from Amazon inspected this junk before allowing its misleading picture and description on its website. Avoid at all cost, otherwise get ready for a return within your first five minutes, as you say, geez, I should have listened to this review. Yes, you should have!!

M AnsteyM Anstey: One person can assemble, comes partially made. Does not make a sound and very sturdy.
Going to order another one to replace my daughters squeaky wooden box spring.

Update.....boxspring still sturdy and still no sound. March 14th 2023.

BoB: We have a queen sized Zinus platform for our Purple mattress, but when replacing my son's platform bed we needed something for his new twin. Our queen has the metal rails, but when I saw this version with the wood I hopped on it. Very simple assembly. Just a handful of screws which they provide the tool for. What I thought was very simple and neat was the fact the wood slats use Velcro to fasten to the base. That sounds weird (or at least as I opened it I thought it sure looked weird), but it works awesome! No sound and no movement when assembled, and sturdy as can be. Also, similar to our queen version, this comes with the cover. Just a great all around item if its something you're in the market for.

This Guy: Hands down my favorite company now.
Sturdy steel frame, pieces for into each other and are marked accordingly. 1 to 1 2 to 2 etc. Only the 4 pieces so very simple.
The screw holes all line up perfectly. They give you an Allen wrench for the screws, but they also give you an adjustable ratcheting Allen wrench. Like here's the regular ish way, and here's this nice tool to make it easy!
The planks are strung together by velcro strip, and the other half of the strip is on the frame rails.
The cover unzips 3/4 to drape over then zip it shut over the frame, and is padded strip toy don't feel or see that it's a metal frame.
This thing is simple, instructions are way easy.
This company is killing it with ease of use and the tool.

Amazon Customer: Solid product and good value. It seems slightly endersized for the twin mattress but it works fine.
