Pyracantha: These guys are small enough that you barely notice them around your neck. That means you’re apt to take them everywhere and see unexpectedly amazing things like window washers eating lunch 100’ above you, or a cardinal at a water fountain, or planes flying through swirling clouds. These focus close enough to see a butterfly sipping nectar from a flower. So lots of utility for exploring your part of the world and wherever you travel.

These are our 2nd set of small objective lens binoculars. The other Nikon set is quite good too, but the Zeiss are definitely a step up with a wider and brighter views. The construction, the feel in your hand, is also superior. These are not the cheapest, nor are they the best of the best, but they are quite nice and a great value. Try them, you won’t be disappointed.

joe schill: Pros: You are purchasing the finest optics made. The European optics companies are perfectionist. Clarity, low light brightness, construction and overall quality is premium.
Coms: American optics, such as Vortex, have improved American quality, Zeiss doesn't blink when it comes to superior quality.
Conclusion: If you want the best long-range vision spend the money. You'll appreciate the difference and own them forever.

HappyValley: Bought to watch the cricket at the Oval. My Swarovski binoculars were too heavy and valuable. These are fantastically clear. I wear contact lenses usually but find I can also get them into infinity focus with or without my spectacles on - I am very shortsighted, at -9.5dioptres in one eye and -10dioptrea in the other. I like the little rigid lightweight case too, it's handy for other items like sunglasses or reading glasses when using the binoculars. It's nice that they are waterproof too. Oh, and the delivery was very quick and efficient!

Manuel: Como no podía ser de otra forma con Zeiss, son espectaculares. La calidad de imagen es difícil de mejorar y la calidad en general del producto es muy buena.
Yo los quería para llevarlos en la mochila y han superado mis expectativas.
Merece la pena pagar un poco más por esta marca.

Hawkeye: Having been a birder for 30+ years I don't think any binoc can compare with the old 8×10 Zeiss. They were the blue ribbon in my book. The new version is still an choice excellent. Very good optics and quick focusing with a much smaller price tag. However, they don't seem quite as sturdy as the old ones so I am trying to be more careful with them.

Their low weight makes them a good choice for long hikes.

Amazon Customer: These are very small and light and gives great clarity for bird watching. These are better than some clunky old Nikon binoculrs. The only downside is you have to hold them up by your eyebrows to see properly. You can’t put your eyes into the eyepieces. that took some getting used to.

DAVID ARBON: Now made in China, before they were made in Japan, however the quality is still there, voted a best buy in a Bird magazine in the mid price range the optics are very good , adjustments are a bit on the stiff side but that could be the newness?. No rain guard, however thats common in pocket optics. Good case that offers protection, and finally I picked these up with a significant saving over other retailers prices.
