G. OBryan: The Zebra pens have impressed me because the ink lasts much longer than the expensive gel pens on the market. The ink comes out in a steady flow so that there are no skips/bare spots when writing. I actually bought a blue pack AND a black pack so I may be set for life with ink pens.

Arthur Leary: These pens are light weight and comfortable to hold and write smoothly and no runny ink . Great price can't go wrong and fits in your pocket nicely . ONE thing to remember is before using a new one , they have a little protective cap on the ball point of every pen you have to pull off before use . Probably to prevent any air getting at the ink and so they won't dry up say 8 months from now just sitting in the package they came in . I read some of the reviews and people were saying they don't work , so I was unsure whether to buy them or not , so when I got them I couldn't wait to try one to see how well they work and sure enough I could see what the problem was , just as I thought . They all had the little plastic rubber protective cap on every one . Easy enough just grab with your finger and pull it off and your all set !!!

Exploring technologyExploring technology: So far I have tested just 1 of these 12 red retractable pens. I like it! It writes immediately (on demand), no need to go over the lines and very legible :)

On first use, you have to remove the nib (see pictures). I imagine it should help make the unused ones last longer and not dry out.
