LUIS GONZÁLEZ: La tela no crea bultos al usarla y no da tanto calor, se estira para acomodarse en la cara. Es una sola pieza, lo cual es bueno para evitar bultos. Cubre toda la cabeza y casi la mitad del cuello.

J.T. Bradley: I bought the first one of these as a component for my Halloween costume and it worked perfectly. Perfect for any superhero/ninja costumes. Sadly, I had to cut off the top for the costume.

I was so impressed with this lightweight balaclava that I've purchased a second one for my daily bicycling commute. My other balaclava ( Chaos -CTR Howler Multi Tasker Pro Windproof Balaclava, Black, Large/X-Large ) is too heavy, and is suited for motorcycle use in very cold weather.

This hood is more breathable, allows for better hearing of one's surroundings, and keeps the face & neck warm for runners and cyclists in 20°–50°F weather. The construction feels very sturdy while maintaining a lightweight, flexible shape.

Mike Vank: Nice and snug, good stretch and good thickness to the nylon. Should be good for October/November hunt in Ontario.

Lobotomie: I would disregard the size issue mentioned by other reviewers, I have a big head and it fits fine.
The thing that breaks it for me is the seams right down the middle. If you wear it over your mouth it gets super annoying, they are kinda thick too.
I use it as a helmet liner for snowboarding, and it does the job for now.

loveguitar: I'm female and this Balaclava fit my head perfectly. I love how slick and black it is and plan on wearing it underneath my full-face toboggan this winter while playing tennis. It covers my neck completely too. I might look a little weird, but I hate have having a frozen face and ears. Be aware that this will not fit those with large heads. It will fit women with average sized heads.

Ken Fontenot: I purchased this ZANheadgear Balaclava for one purpose and one purpose alone. It is meant to hide my neck and face while I'm wearing a TIE Fighter outfit complete with a helmet and chest armor. I plan on joining up with the 501st, a Star Wars charity organization, and this product was recommended to me by a member. It's thin, lightweight, and allows my eyes to remain uncovered.

As of right now I've only worn it a few times, but despite its being thin, it is very warm. If you plan to use it for hunting, as a cover under your helmet while riding a motorcycle (or on a boat), or in any type of outdoor activity, it should be just fine. It will fit under most helmets, but you might want to test it first.

Highly recommended.

R. Morris: I bought this balaclava to replace one I lost towards the end of winter. I use it primarily on winter bike rides to protect my ears, face neck, and (on really cold days or long rides) nose. My previous balaclava was a C9 by Champion one from Target, which I liked much better because it was thicker (thus warmer) and more comfortable, but apparently stores don't feel like selling winter clothing in February anymore, so I had to look elsewhere. That's where this one came in.

When I first got it, I was immediately surprised by how thin it is. I don't think I could use this in the middle of winter; I'd need something thicker and warmer. However, for short rides or warmer temperatures (say, 20s or 30s) I've found it acceptable. It is very tight, so I could see people with larger heads having problems with this. There is some stitching down the middle that other people noticed and I thought might concern me. If I wear it only around the perimeter of my face, it's fine, but if I pull it up over my mouth or nose, is is noticeable (not quite irritating in my opinion). The "neck" portion is also very long, which I find nice on this one because I thought it was...

Richard Reichow: Great snug fit, breatheable balaclava. I actually bought it for part of a halloween costume (counter-terrorist, ballin). Anyway, things of note: it is a VERY snug fit so if you have a huge skull you might want to rethink this one. Also not a very long neck and the seam goes right down the middle of your face. I haven't been bothered by the seam at all however.

I am extremely happy with this purchase.
