I ordered this along with hon dashi to make miso soup. Just what it needed. Having this and some tofu makes the best homemade miso soup ever.

This looks ALMOST exactly like presented in the pictures and videos. Since it was my first time eating had no idea what to expect. I would've given it 5 stars except the CA warning label was not anywhere in the pictures. Had I seen that warning, I probably would not have bought this. That may be why it's missing. I am very interested in knowing what percentage of mercury is in this product before purchasing again.

My son and I are certified foodies and skilled cooks. We purchased this product because finding high quality kombu locally at an affordable price is difficult. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality, flavor and affordability of this product. Because of its size (large, whole leaves) it is easy to trim to exactly the right size needed. The flavor it imparts is clean and fresh and the salinity is not overpowering. I wholeheartedly recommend this and I will for certain purchase this again and again.
