bobby: I just got this handy little gadget yesterday 7/28/23 and used it for 6 hours on my kyak 7/29/23 and it does exactly what I needed it to do, I'm strictly catfish and use suspend bait off the side of my kyak
It's very easy to use just read the instructions and your set to go
I'm investing in rechargeable batteries for sure, it sets off a beeping sound when the fish are close by only thing is I have it mounted on one side of my kyak and it will still let you know that fish are in the area, I really like the depth finder that's what was most important thing
I highly recommend this awesome little gadget for the fisherman with a tight budget

Ron R Shaffer: Although it doesn’t have a huge screen or color screen, it is small enough to fit in your tackle box and it’s easy to use, I though the instructions were decent. I was able to load the batteries and set up what functions to use in a few minutes. If you are looking for a value, something that works, buy this. If you want to drop triple the cash for something that does the same thing, then go ahead. Maybe if I owned my own boat I would spend more on the larger screen ones. But for a week fishing trip every year where I use the resorts boat and motor, this will do just fine. Only knock on it is I wish it came with a suction cup mount, instead off just the permanent mount.

Beth Ramey KeatonBeth Ramey Keaton: Recently purchased this portable fish finder to use on my fishing kayak! It works great! It tells you how deep the water is where you are fishing and let’s you know if a tree or anything is beneath your boat! It has a light on the screen as well! You can set the sensitivity from low to medium to high with a little alarm that will go off when the fish are coming! It shows size as in small, medium or large and works like a champ! Love it!
