jleejapan: I researched dozens of storage boxes to find what I needed. Interior dimensions were critical to confirm it would meet my requirements, and I was very happy to see this seller clearly published interior dimensions (unlike so many others). The chest was very easy to assemble. It simply snapped together with no tools required, other than the hinge assembly. Contrary to seller's statement that two or more people were required for assembly, I assembled it myself with ease. Total assembly required about 20 minutes. As for whether it is weather / water proof, the lid overlaps a flange on the lower box. Unless you have a sideways driving rain, I would say water incursion is very unlikely.
