Nathan Wesche: The first one I received broke immediately (one of the 4 snaps to attach the lid and create a seal). In the defense of the manufacturer and worth mentioning, the product had been delivered on a cold day and was outside in the cold for a few hours, so it probably got a little bit brittle. I returned the broken one and got a replacement, and the 2nd one is holding up fine so far. I use it to store my rabbits' food pellets since it's less annoying than keeping them in a zip bag. The measuring cup lid isn't very useful unless what you're measuring is in milliliters.

J. Cain: I'm very pleased with this container! I bought a 2.5 lb bag of Royal Canin Chihuahua food, and I left it in the usual spot where I put my dog's food. My cat must've been attracted by the smell or the appearance of the bag reminded her of her treat bag because she chewed a hole through it twice. The first time I saw this, I put the bag up on a shelf where I didn't think she'd mess with it, but she chewed the second hole through it the next night. So I had to store it in a drawer to prevent further damage to the bag. I already had to handle the bag carefully so kibble wouldn't fall out of it, and I was concerned about it staying fresh. That's when I did a search for a small container for my dog's food that was sturdy enough that my cat wouldn't damage it. This was exactly what I needed, and the pour spout and measuring cup are icing on the cake. Thank you so much! Five stars, would definitely order again!

Figgymaxx: The containers are very good quality, well made. The measuring cup attached seals the product very well. At first I was hesitant to purchase the product, because of other reviews, pointed out that the leads and edges of the can broke, but after all I decided to move forward. I can see why others are complaining, it is because they are not using logic to assemble the product. First you have to hook the rear lid in place, then you make sure that the top is aligned with the can. Then apply slight pressure so the front part will go in to place (remember it is air tight, so it needs some pressure to close). Once the top is in place then and, until then you hook the front lid (it should be easy and effortless if the lid is placed correctly), then secure the two side lids, should easy and simple.
The product hods a decent amount of food, you cannot expect to hold a lot, every item weights is different, but it really holds a lot. I have a medium size dog and 5 cats, of which one has to eat a different kind of food. This product has made my life much easier, and I would not hesitate to purchase it again if needed.

Jennifer OwingsJennifer Owings: The media could not be loaded.  This seems to be a nice storage container for cat chow. The 4 lock down latches will keep it secure, the handle is convenient and the indented side makes it easy to pour even with my small hand and nerve damage. I can’t give it 5 stars because it doesn’t come close to holding 3.5 pounds, maybe 2 pounds. Also, the height of 12.2 inches high is misleading. To me 12.2 is, at most, 12 1/4 inches. It’s actually more like 12 3/8 so it won’t fit upright on my shelf. It’s still workable since it does have the handle and a flat side so I am able to lay it on its side. Overall, I would recommend just keep in mind it won’t hold a 3.5 pound bag of cat chow. Oh, and Princess Trixie approves as well.

Angela M.Angela M.: I really like this food container for storing my pups food. It is way better looking than a bag just sitting around. The storage container has 4 buckles on the lid that lock it in place, which is great so you don't have to worry about tipping it over & making a mess. It is also made with an airtight seal for keeping the food fresh, free of pests & dust. No one likes to eat stale food, so what makes you think your pups do? Well with the food container you don't have to worry about that. Some other features that I like about this container is that it also has a spout & an attachable measuring cup to pour the food into instead of having use a cup to scoop it out from the bag. It is also has a handle making it easy to take with you when on the go. The food container is made for both pups & cats. I would purchase this item again.
