WORX Pegasus Folding Work Table & Sawhorse - Portable Workstation and Multifunctional Support System

S. Parker: I bought two of these and I'm really impressed considering they are plastic sawhorses with extendable flap tables. I've had the plastic sawhorses only types and found them to be a bit unstable, but I folded these out and they are solid! I think it has to do with the support arms for the table bracing the legs more.

I saw reviews complaining about the tops not being level and there being no place to clamp down, but I question what these people were doing after seeing these in person. The table top is not 100% flat but it's so close that when I put a board on it they were not sticking up in any way. The precision I think that reviewer was looking for is just unreasonable to expect for some portable worktable and regular woodworking.

As for clamping, there are clearly some reinforced areas on the bottom designed for clamping. The key is that your clamps MUST have flat feet on them, which the supplied clamps do! If you're using clamps with circular feet or too small of feet, you need to use some scrap wood between the bottom and the clamp foot. Simple as that.

Levi: I was out of town when I ordered this table. I figured that, long term, it would be handy to have around, but for immediate purposes my wife would be using it for a project that she would be starting without me. I told her that I'd ordered a work table that I wanted for future projects, but that would also be perfect for what she needed... This blind endorsement was a mistake on my part.

Let me preface this review by saying that my wife is no dummy. She's an educated and intelligent person... But she has also never picked up a circular saw in her life.

Her experience unboxing and using this table without me was... Less than optimal:

The table is heavy. It's not an immovable object, but my wife is sure that is certainly heavier than most women (and I'd say lots of people in general) would be able to move easily or comfortably in the manner shown on the box and in the display pictures here.

Once folded and ready to move/store, there are no real handles to pick it up. If you're not tall enough to reach all the way down to the folded down table edge to get a handle on it, then you're SOL.

... Now let me stop here and say that I'm not factoring either...

However, I'm disappointed with the bar clamps (2.5 stars) because they don't have a lot of clamping force. They hold things, just not real securely. I would not recommend relying on the bar clamps if you had to secure material very tightly.
