LisaB: I (late fifties female) bought this to cut some cattle panels. The previous reviews said that they work fine for women and they are right. I am not particularly strong and had no trouble using them. I did have to use the floor for levarage. Do wear gloves if you are doing a lot of work. I did a lot of cutting and got a blister on my hand. These cutters are well worth the money.

CarlaCarla: First of all it was delivered fast, when my brother used it to cut the security lock I was extremely excited. The previous real estate company forgot to take the lock after I purchased the home. Now I feel relived it’s gone. ghull: I don't write reviews for everything I buy. So when I do, it is -- very much -- a deserving product.

These WorkPro mini bolt cutters are well-made & finished, feel good in the hands, and do their job ... at the lowest price I can find, anywhere. I cannot state whether they would stand up to "daily, professional use" -- but for the "DIY Weekend Warrior" like me, these are more than sufficient. Weekend Warriors know that their tools will spend more time in the tool box than in service ... but when you need a particular tool, you just plain need to have one available.

It should also be noted that this tool came nicely plastic-wrapped & boxed, and accompanied by a nice corporate pamphlet outlining the WorkPro line & a couple of others. An understated, classy touch.

All of this ... delivered to my door, one day after placing the online order. No room to complain here, about anything!

C Nelson: I’m working on the seats in my vintage Saab project and was having a tough time cutting the old hog rings to get the old seat covers off. I tried all my wire cutters, but I just couldn’t cut through the thick hog ring wire. These new cutters work great. They are sharp and have the added leverage to snip thick hid rings with ease. The grips are nice too. I would buy these again.

wsted55: These Bolt Cutters are towards the lower end of the price scale but they do the job okay, I'm happy with them. Although, don't try to cut padlocks etc :)

Mark Regan: I'll just say this right off the bat. This is not a knipex Cobalt. Its not just up to that level. But this is still a great tool to have and picks up where most Snips, linemans pliars stops cutting wise. It'll cut fence wire with ease. Will go through nails up to a decent size. Staples, light sheeting, etc. I have this in my car bag and find it a great addition. And for the money it's hard to beat
