Mary K: The colors are rich, the knit is smooth and the toe seams are flat. I don't know yet how they will wear. A blend of wool and poly should be long wearing, soft and warm. The price was great too.

Susan Ross: I put a pair on yesterday. They're a little whimsical but they are part wool too and it was cool here . They weren't as soft as I thought they would be but after I put them on they were so comfortable. I wore them all day. My feet didn't sweat. They dry quick. So impressed I bought 5 more pair!

Jean-Christophe: It came faster than expected! Socks are very nice and vibrant colours. My only negative comment is they smell very strong eucalyptus essential oil, which is kind of awkward... Washed them but still smell a bit. But I do recommend this product!

canuckcanuck: These are lovely socks. They are soft and if you buy as a gift, they come in a nice box. All fair isle socks will look like this on the inside, but I didn't find they snagged at all when I put them on.

It clearly states the wool content, so don't expect to be going out in -35 with crappy boots and expect they will be warm. I live in Canada and these will be just fine, no different to my other socks. If you're looking for winter hiking, then this isn't the sock for you. All colours are very pretty. My foot is size 8, but these shouldn't have an issue fitting up to a 10.

Virginia S: I'm not sure why these are listed as 'novelty' socks, but... they're good socks. Really pretty colours that go nicely with all this seasons sweaters and colours. I'm really happy with them. They're warm and thick enough, seem like mostly cotton and keep their stretch and shape. Putting novelty in the name is slightly confusing and I think 'wool' might be off the mark too. They seem like cotton. They're soft, not at all scratchy and not warm enough to be wool, but sometimes wool hides well, especially in blends. Having said that, these feel like my other cotton socks which is good news for people who are allergic to wool.
I think a lot of sellers put random words in the titles hoping to catch sellers and get into searches without really thinking about what they're doing...
These come in a nice box, have good presentation and would make a lovely gift or stocking stuffer. They fit me which means that they're fairly small, they probably wouldn't fit over a woman's size 8 or 9. I'm a 5, they have some stretch to them and are a bit roomy on me.

Whitney: These socks are very soft and warm. They do well in my boots throughout a Canadian winter but they're kind of small. They're small not so much in the foot area of the sock but more so around the area that hugs your ankle.

My feet are size 7 and they're quite narrow. If I find them a bit difficult to put on I'm sure others with more average sized feet would find so as well.

If your feet are size 7 or less and on the narrow side then totally go for them :)

Amazon Customer: I like the style and color of the socks, as well as the packaging. However, they are not very warm ; there were no descriptions of the percentage of all materials used on the box. I cannot be certain if the website is correct because I've bought other things that have different descriptions on the item and the website. The website didn't state the percentage of wool either, but similar socks from other vendors state about 30%. I also think the socks are too small to fit someone wearing size 9 - I'm a size 7 and I would prefer them to be longer on the feet and the height. They are almost like ankle socks. if your feet are wide, you will like the width of the socks. All in all , they are attractive and comfortable, but I wish they were longer, higher, and warmer - good price though
