bookabsorbed: Very lightweight, easy to fold for travel, wipe-off a breeze. No arch support unless you add an insert. The cinch strap at the top is a really great idea and does allow for a tighter fit depending on calf size or style of pants. I don't know if this would work for someone with large calves but perfect for someone 14-16 inches. I also don't believe that if you are looking for warmth, as is, that you will be happy in the dead of winter. Wool socks, sheepskin insoles- could make that less of an issue. For the price- I am thrilled to finally have a pair of rainboots that don't feel like I am lugging cement blocks with each step.

ts: I like these boots and will work for me! But there are a couple of things just to know about. I wear a size 7 and got the 7. The foot size is loose ....but i wear ankle socks with them and that helped some. I like them loose so i can move around easier. 2) the calf: I have a normal size calf and the only issue is that if you want to wear sweatpants tucked inside, you will only get about 3 inches to do so. But still will keep from getting mud in them. 3) Love The tab at the base of the heel; so, you can get your feet out easier with muddy boots.

Amazon Customer: They are the boots that have lasted the longest around the farm. Not very good if you have goats that will step on your feet as they're not too thick.
But they will keep your feet dry!

Aþena Björg ÁsgeirsdóttirAþena Björg Ásgeirsdóttir: I was looking for barefoot conforming rainboots and wasn't really finding anything. Then I stumbled upon a review mentioning these so I thought lets try it out.
* These barely pass as barefoot boots. They are way better than any regular shoes, but they do push just the tiniest bit on the little toe. If you have a wide splay then these might not be for you.
* They are so flexible! I did some gardening while wearing them and they never once constricted me. Any sitting posision, squatting, jumping over garden beds, you name it; these rain boots just went along with it.
* Material seems durable. I haven't worn them often enough to really say though.
* I like the way they look. Basic but still a bit chic.
I don't know what else to say. These are nice boots and I like wearing them :)

S. PikeS. Pike: The media could not be loaded. Just received these boots. I have not had a chance to use them in the field and will not until later this year. I will update my review at that time.
As far as the fit, definitely measure the circumference of your calf. The description said 14.5 inches, I measured my calf and it was 14.5 inches, and it fits exactly around my calf. I don’t really even need to tighten the strings at the top. But I prefer that snug fit to keep bugs from getting in there.
They were comfortable enough, and I think will work great for slogging through mud. They roll down nicely and tie to take up much less space in the bag. They won’t take up any more space than my regular hiking boots would. They are pretty lightweight as well. The tie around the top has a squeeze mechanism to loosen it, and it can easily come off the strings if you don’t tie the strings on the outside of that mechanism. But if you wish to tie the boots down with your strings, then you cannot tie them in a knot outside that loosening mechanism. You can always bring a couple of rubber bands to put around the boots after rolling them up rather than tying them, if you prefer the strings to...

Kaijai: These boots are really light and flexible, making walking, and squatting while gardening etc. easy. They are also tall enough for my long legs and not too wide for my skinny legs. The flat sole means my back doesn't hyper-flex and get tired and sore. They are wide enough in the foot to fit thick socks. So far they are warm (although I haven't tried them in really cold weather yet). The sole is quite thin, so you can feel the ground, but they can be a bit hard when the ground is hard. I added an insole to soften them slightly until our ground gets softer. I would definitely buy these again.

Dane P: So I really like these boots. I bought them after reading about them on Anyas reviews, and they feel great!
I am normally a women’s size 8, but went with the 8.5 which I’m glad about, because otherwise I feel like they’d be too small. The calf hole as well almost didn’t fit, so if you have larger calves these might not work for you. I run regular so my calves are thicker.
Overall, they are amazingly light, flexible, and comfortable - not overly heavy and cumbersome. I’m excited to do a lot of walking in these this spring.

NewbieBakerNewbieBaker: Size is perfect for me, for women no difference between US and Australia for shoes/boots. Colour is pretty, and with superb quality.

carrington yarde: Love these. Super comfortable, light weight, and durable. They go right up to my knee caps. I'm flat footed and wear a women's 8.5 so I got the 39, they fit well with socks on. A bit uncomfortable for me when I use the draw string function, I usually don't use that.
