Chris Orr: I was looking for leggings like tights to wear under dresses. these are more like stocking. They are a bit translucent. They fit fine, but I could have gone up one size. I am 5ft6in and weigh 184. I ordered an XL. as per the size I could have been XL or XXl.
They are silkly but not static. They stayed put nicely. They have a nice stretch.

I am definitely glad I got the XXL cause they were hard to get up but you can't see my skin at all, which I wanted. I have worn one pair a few times since I got them and I can say they are very durable.

MM: I haven't worn hose since my mom forced me to as a child, but I felt like these would have a nicer, more polished look with dresses than my usual base layer leggings, so I gave them a shot.
Fit and durability: I was very pleased with the quality of the fabric, which is stretchy and seems very durable. I've only worn them a few times, but I haven't experienced runs or anything. I ordered a medium and the size chart is true to size for my ~143 pounds.
Opaque: There is a light translucence and sheen to the fabric, so a tiny idea of skin is visible under the hose. That's fine--we're not trying to go Puritan here, just want to be work appropriate. These definitely provide coverage while also being chic and low-key cute.
Warmth: I wore these in 54 degree weather and they were effective. Granted, that's not very cold, so we'll see how they do in midwinter.
Buy again?: Yes.

Smooth & Slim: The control top does a decent job of smoothing out any lumps or bumps, providing a sleek appearance under clothing.
Durable: I've found these tights to be quite durable. They've held up well without easily snagging or tearing, which is a big plus.
Comfortable Fit: They're comfortable to wear throughout the day, with a good balance of stretch and control.
However, I'm giving them 4 stars because, like many control top tights, they can occasionally roll down at the waist, which can be a bit annoying. But overall, they're a reliable choice for adding warmth and a polished look to your outfits.
