Women's Slip-On Performance Walking Shoe by Skechers: Go Walk 3

Style Tip JunkieStyle Tip Junkie: I have had two pairs of GoWalk 3s (one black, one navy) for a couple years, and I have worn them year round (I live in AZ) with just about everything. They have been the most comfortable shoes I have owned. Unfortunately, the toes of the navy ones now have holes. So my odyssey of trying to replace them began.
I won’t go into the long story, but I have bought numerous pairs of “navy” Skechers trying to find the replacement for my faves. Just this week, I bought 4 pairs of navy GoWalks on Amazon to compare them all (see my reviews).
In terms of style, these come closest to my original pair. (See photos) The toe has become a little more rounded, but not as rounded as some of the styles. The color is a good dark navy (some “navy”s are kind of weird blue). The back of the heel is cushioned somewhat like my original pair (but not exactly). The mesh material doesn’t have really big holes like one pair did, and it feels like fabric rather than plastic, which another pair felt like.
My main complaint is the heel slips a little. The size is right- my toe is at the front of the shoe- but the heel slips a little. I compared it to my original shoe and the heel measures...

K. Faillettaz: Very comfortable - wore them all day without breaking in and no issues at all. Like wearing slippers. I would say that sizing is a little off. I’m a 7.5 uk size. I usually have to go up to an 8 es ecialky for pumps and trainers (unless they actually come in a 7.5). So ordered these in an 8 but they were like boats. When I stood there was an obvious gap at the back and they were ‘baggy’ just below the ankle bone. However returns are free and straight forward (with prime at least) so I sent them back and ordered a 7. Perfect fit! So I would say if you are a half size go down not up
My other comment is these are warm! I already have Skechers flex which are a thick jersey type of material, so these (along with the memory foam) makes them hot. Can’t wear them in the summer hot. I was hoping these would be different as a few people had said they are cool. Not to me I’m afraid. But hopefully they won’t be bad enough to stop me wearing them in the warmer months

I. Jack: I bought these from Amazon last week - as usual, delivery was great with my Prime Membership and I received them the next day. There are a couple of things I would say: First of all, I am a UK Size 8 and I was slightly disappointed to find that the EUR size inside the shoe was a 41. UK8s are usually a EUR 42, so be aware if you are also a size 8! Whether it was because of that, or whether it's because I do have a high arch, I initially found that the shoes were hard to get into properly without the edging to the upper folding under and pinching a bit. That said, I have persisted and this isn't a problem now as the upper has stretched slightly (as I thought it might) - after wearing all day, however, I have noticed they rub a little, but that is always a problem with me! It isn't summer if I haven't got cut feet in some area!

The other thing I found odd was that the sole is very soft - it's a bit like wearing slippers! No bad thing if you like this, and definitely comfortable, but for some reason I had expected a slightly firmer feel from a walking shoe, a feeling of support.

Essbee: I saw these advertised on TV and thought they looked smart and I liked the idea of a shoe I could use for walking the dog. I find trainers heavy and the internal construction uncomfortable so I thought I'd give a pair a go.

I have bought Sketchers in the past and was aware of their wide fit but as I have a wide foot and a high instep I was hoping for a good fit. I was not disappointed. The shoes are reasonably wide and very smooth on the inside - no socks needed. The shoe is incredibly light and the cushioning is excellent.

I like the shoe very much but it has lost a star for two reasons. The first is that although it is a walking shoe I do sometimes need to drive to where I intend walking, the circular supports underfoot give an odd driving experience and catch on the pedals,, not to the point of being dangerous but making your feet feel a little 'sticky'. I have also found that on my narrower foot the top of the shoe has folded slightly around my big toe area and caused a slight crease which presses into a small part of my toe, after walking for an hour or so this becomes a little uncomfortable.

I may try a different model of the shoe as I am really pleased...

Wilma Dearing: I have had a few pairs of Skechers in the past and frankly had given them up as "not for my feet". But having tried one of these Go Walk 3's on my left (dodgy) foot locally I decided to try and get them from Amazon (not because of money but because local store would only give me back a credit note if they were not be suitable). The shoes came quickly (3 days) and just as I had experienced in the shop very squishy under my arthritic metatarsal toe joint which is like (in most shoes) standing on a pebble!
I cannot feel my bony lump under foot in this left shoe which is AMAZING! I am so glad I tried them. I bought my usual size 5 (all my previous Skechers have been a 5 and fit ok) and although these are a generous 5 they are wide enough (about as wide as the "relaxed" range) and long enough not to crowd my left big toe but still stay on! I am very happy with them. It's the Goga matt and the pillars that make all the difference (I don't get on with the memory foam in soles seems a bit silly to me) but the memory foam in the back of the heel is a brilliant idea, it gives and cradles, I would have liked that a bit thicker! Jetzt da ich die Schuhe schon ein paar Monate habe, muss ich zu meinem Entsetzen feststellen, das man in diesen Schuhen die schlimmsten Käsefüße bekommt :(
Ich habe in keinem anderen Schuh Schweißfüße und habe sehr viele Schuhe von Skechers, ob ich sie barfuß oder mit Socken trage hat nie eine Rolle gespielt. In den Schuhen mit Gogamat Sohle stinken die Füße ob mit oder ohne Socken :(, das ist so übelst unangenehm, da es schon beim laufen aus dem Schuh rausmufft.... ich werde sie jetzt nochmal waschen und das ganze dann nochmal mit extra Einlegesohlen probieren...

Hab die Schuhe heute bekommen und gleich angezogen und nicht mehr ausgezogen, ich bin Skechers go walk Fan seit der ersten Generation, bei jeder Generation dachte ich, dass es nicht besser geht, doch denen fällt immer wieder was neues ein. maktiw: I tried these shoes in the store prior to buying them. I have a flat arch at the front of my feet(making it wide) and my other two arches are fairly high( making the back of my feet narrow). My medial arch ( one between big toe and heel) is exceptionally high. It is extremely difficult to find good shoes for me because of this, even though i'm only in my early twenties. High heels are usually out of the question because my medial arch will not even touch the shoe! I found these and i've been wearing them for over a month and a half now. I have to say out of all the shoes i've tried on the store, these were the most comfortable.
Compared to the Go Walk 2, these offer more support for the foot and have better cushioning.They actually conform to my feet easier because of the design on the bottom. The individual circular parts of the sole actually press into the crevices of your feet making it very comfortable, while the rest of the sole just adds a bit of cushioning.( To see what i'm talking about look at the pictures. You'll see some from the middle to the top of the toe area that looks different from the rest of the sole. That the main thing that is different from the go walk...

JB Shopping: I have and LOVE many GW 2 shoes, this is my first GW 3 shoe.

For reference, my feet measure 8 WW, though I often buy 8.5 W (ie, Munro) because I like the extra room in the toe area, or a size 9 M if wide widths are not available.
I also have a high arch/instep.

For Skechers GW line, I had been buying size 9. With GW 2's (Hypo, Super Sock and Super Breathe), the fit was amazing---the shoes are so light and cushy, I didn't feel like I was wearing shoes. No tightness (length/width/top of the foot) and no slippage, either...absolutely perfect!

I ordered the same size 9 for GW 3 and the fit is different like another review stated. Because of my high instep, I feel tightness across the top of both feet, my right in particular. This is the first time I sense a break-in period for me with this line. I'm keeping them, but will probably shop for more 2's in the future.

I will update if these break-in to the level of comfort in fit that I've found in GW 2's right out of the box.

If you do not have a high instep, I HIGHLY recommend these shoes because the cushion factor has definitely been kicked up another notch in the GW 3 (which is why I gave a 4...
